Wow exceeded my expectations
A Must go! I’ve been to so many Asian bowl places! This is my fave!

Got the rainbow don (included piping hot miso)
Lots of warm rice with furikake-like seasonings
It doesn't even need spicy mayo and all those other things poke places have

This is a terrible attitude! I was going to pick up food from them. It says they work until 9, but they started calling me at 8:40 and saying they had already closed half an hour ago and wanted to cancel my order, although I had two minutes left to get there! In the end, they gave me the order with a dissatisfied face, and even wrote a bad rating 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️😡

Driving through the area and spotted this little spot serving up some delicious food. The Bop is tiny, small tables, good music and friendly service. The menu offers a lot of options and I couldn’t decide what to order. I finally chose the bulgogi bowl and it didn’t disappoint. Great container to keep the food fresh and once I at down the flavors and textures were very satisfying.

The owner threatens customers who ask about the source of their fish to "come in" and say it in person, what are they going to do? This is scary. This business should not be allowed to operate, and the LA Health department needs to investigate their food safety practices. People are getting sick!

Owner blocks calls and deletes reviews about food safety regarding his fish. The fish and sushi quality is absolutely terrible here. I have been sick for days. Please do not order. The salmon was inedible I had to throw it out.
The owner also attempts to take reviews down that are negative. The serve frozen fish at premium prices.
The manager hung up the phone when I tried to speak to him about what happened and what is wrong with the fish. Not the correct way to handle a problem! This business is clearly upset someone is calling them out on the truth they do not want to admit. DO NOT ORDER HERE.

STAY AWAY! This is the worst sushi I've had in a while.
The quality tastes like Koreatown ALL YOU CAN eat sushi (below that tbh) Save your money and go elsewhere for good quality, please! I'm so sad. The photos are a catfish. I ordered $50 worth of sushi and the food was awful. The salmon was inedible.... It was so chewy and odd. They clearly use previously frozen fish. What a night ruined. I could've gone to H mart or any Japanese market and made myself way better sushi. Please don't order here if you've had good quality sushi or fish.
