I was very disappointed after buying a VIP ticket to a show only to be escorted to a folding chair on a platform on the far side of the stage. My VIP ticket stated that it was for a front row or elevated booth. When I told the escort that this was NOT a VIP seat he told me to sit there and he would find something else. After sitting there for 15 minutes another escort seated me at an elevated table. Be very sure that when you buy VIP tickets that you are actually getting a VIP seat. Call to make sure!

Bartenders were fantastic and all of our servers except for one were exceptional. The other gal could care less about our table, forgot our dishes and didn’t bring salt and pepper or all the silverware for dishes that very obviously needed knives. Was kind of wild and our table just sat sadly looking at our past servers wishing they would come back. Bar team was top notch though!!

Last night's comedy was a Wisconsin comedian, Charlie Berens. Saw him in Vegas a few months ago. Very good show. Food and drinks were excellent, staff was outstanding. I found street parking just around the corner.

Saw Charlie Beren and loved the intimacy of the whole venue! Got VIP for $55/person and got seated at front.Food was large portion, drinks were nice, but most of all the service was great! From security at the front, the check in process, and waiters inside, the service was very kind and accommodating! While the food is pricey (spent $102 for 2 people and including tip), it’s filling because of the size.Parking was $10 at the Modern Park Inc parking lot that was recommended by The Bourbon Room and was less than 5min walk to The Bourbon Room.Total spent for 2 people is probably around $240 (includes VIP tickets, food & drinks, and parking)

This was my first time visiting the Bourbon Room to see comedian Theo Von perform. It was amazing to enjoy his act in such an intimate space, especially considering he played at a significantly larger venue the following night. My experience from start to finish was superb; the ambiance was amazing, and the venue was comfortable and inviting. The owner, Scott, went above and beyond in terms of service and care, and it was so refreshing to be met with such excellent treatment. I didn't order food, but from what I did see, it looked delicious. The tickets were very fairly priced compared to most LA venues these days, and the two gentlemen working around the ticket podium were super nice and helpful. I'm so glad I was introduced to this venue, and my great experience guaranteed I will be returning!

There were very rude entrance guys on Saturday February 4th 2024, they were unprofessional and angry. Even the Los Angeles police department had issues with them the day before. Definitely a disappointment here. The venue is great but their security/entrance staff has no manners or training. This was a surprise for such a legendary venue. Looking forward to seeing the great bands here play on another stage.
