Came here with a relative that was visiting from New York and they really enjoyed it. Great food and service! French toast was amazing!

I've been floating past this place for a while, and I will see a line out front saying to myself, "That place must have some good food." Well, I guess I FAAFO today. I called my order in, and even in the rush and not having a menu item in stock, the customer service was awesome. I ordered two salmon croquet breakfast sandwiches, French toast breakfast w bacon, and a shrimp omelet. I never added a side, so the beautiful young lady that was cooking added some Cajun grits as the side. Which was cool. The food was delicious and seasoned well. It reminded me of my grandmother's breakfast on the weekends. The establishment doesn't do "fast food," so it would be a good idea to attempt to call in your order and pick it up somewhere between 25-35 minutes later. I will most definitely stop in again to explore the other menu items that is in alignment with my current diet. I will be back, and I can't wait, but I have to.

Thank you Breakfast Shack cook for the delicious food.

This place is the bomb. I was looking for a breakfast place near USC but read the reviews for The Breakfast Shack which was 3 miles away instead, and had to try it.

I got the breakfast sandwich with the pork patty and hash browns, and life everyone else said, the food bursts with flavor. I didn’t even have to add ketchup to the hash like you do at other places. I did add jam to the sandwich but that’s as matter of taste, the way some people like maple syrup with their sausage. Everything was great. And the patio makes the outside world fade away.

I don’t live or work anywhere near here but I’ll definitely come back, especially to try some of the other gems, like the French toast.

Well worth the wait! Food was brought to our table. I ordered the Florence Special. Eggs, Bacon, Pancakes, the pancakes made my mouth water. I have not had pancakes this good, I will be coming back for those specifically.

The eating area was nice, clean with protection from the sun. Limited seating , but it seems most people take it to go. My wife and I loved it here.

It is conveniently located next to a gas station. My least favorite part was the parking. However if you are a local you know you can't go to a small business and expect there to be parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: If you are in a wheelchair you can order directly in front. To go to the seating area depends of the width of your wheelchair.

Food was mid....they burned my bacon vs cooking it well done/crispy and it's overpriced if you ask me for a place you can't even sit down and eat in. 18$ 2 eggs bacon and hashbrown that were "seasoned".

I’ve been coming here for breakfast for about a year now. And I’m obsessed lol. The food is always so delicious, hot and freshly cooked. My favorite is the breakfast burrito with turkey bacon and a side of seasoned grits. The service is always friendly.

The food was terrible seriously like something you would receive in jail. the breakfast shack might as well be run by criminals for the price of what I received. My expectations were very high. After eating there I can say I will never return and advise other people to stay away from this scam business

The grits taste like jail grits. Bland, watery and stail. We waited 30 minutes for some sour lemon aid without ice . A breakfast sandwich that was squished and little to no egg and a patty as thin as a credit card. The hash browns were flakes undercooked.i can't believe we paid over $60 for something they would serve in jail. Overcharged easy food

Only bad things I have to say is they didn’t answer the phone and it’s in the hood…. Other than that the food is ? I mean the food had me talking to myself and pointing at it sayin oh yea! Do yourself a favor and stop by this hidden gem.

Smackin’ & wholesome, seasoned & made with LOVE♥️—The Breakfast Shack is my favorite breakfast place in LA. You will not be disappointed here!

Things made with love take time, so have patience, it’s always worth the wait. The two ladies tag-teaming this little shack are wonderful souls who put great care & detail in all that they do. From the food, the service, and as a business, this street corner is blessed to have the Shack & all who pour into it.

Their breakfast sandwiches are my go-to. Soft bun, fluffy eggs, melty cheese, & your choice of meat (pork patty + turkey patty are seasoned to perfection!) Throw on some hot sauce, spread some jam, & you have yourself a satisfying start to your day.

There’s a peaceful little patio seating in the back too; go get you a bite & some sun!

Stay blessed ??️
