Best sandwiches in LA. Best house made potato chips in LA as well. Service is quick and the people are nice. It is a little pricey for lunch, as some have noted, but sometimes you have to pay for quality.

A little pricey, but tasty sandwiches. Soups are small.

good spot to get lunch especially if in a time crunch. Quick service and got my food within 5-10 minutes of ordering. The French dip was really good and I liked the potato chips too. The only negative thing I have to say is it was a pretty small sandwich and that seems to be a common thing among all the sandwiches after looking at other reviews. Still would recommend going

Great sandwiches and soups. An underrated West LA gem. Food takes a while to get served but is 100% worth the wait. Tons of menu variety. I personally suggest the chicken parmesan sandwich, tomato soup, and chili.

We went because of the person who wrote the 'bussing' soup review, after they had read another review about the 'bussing' soup.

The tomato soup is indeed delicous. And the sandwiches were excellent. The Bentley sandwich received particular praise.

Fabulous customer service too. We were all delighted.

Came here after I saw a person review the tomato soup as “bussing”

I will say the tomato soup was bussing. Also probably one of the best sandwiches I had. Atmosphere was welcoming they have some really good AC going on. Perfect for the summer honestly I would recommend a friend to this spot it’s so yummy.

Cashier was friendly and patient with me ^_^

I got the Chicken Salad Club with their very popular Tomato soup ($2 upgrade cost)

Loved it.

$19ish before tip

It was one of the best sandwhiches I have had. Very fresh and homemade food. We had the California Carver and the club. The flavors were so inviting, and the bacon and pickles really gave it that extra flavor.

If I am back in L.A. I will for sure stop in again!

Weird vibes. Very large and spaceous place but its empty and theres no music, all you can hear is the humm of the fridge and the employees yelling. Also all the employees here feel angry.

Onto the food. Disappointing . I got the bourdeux. Salad is very bland and plain, chicken is low quality, sandwich doesn’t have much flavor. The presentation on the cutting board is nice, but thats about it. Also chicken is not grilled well, tastes soggy and you can still taste the blood. Maybe its not fresh.

Nothing was terrible which is why i am giving 3 stars. But nothing really stood out to me, i could make a much better sandwich at home.

I will not be coming here again.

Excellent sandwiches. From the bread to the meats and the vegetables. Everything I've had here so far I've enjoyed. The chicken pesto panini was one of the best I've had and the carving club is delicious. Their house made chips and french fries are also amazing and complement the sandwiches well. Paired with their strawberry lemonade, you can't go wrong. Finish it off with the nutellamellow for a perfect dessert that's the perfect amount of sweetness. The staff was also super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Delicious food! I had the Carving Club with extra sauce. It was amazing. The in-house potato chips were just as good. The dessert were great as well. I definitely recommend this place!

We were here on a Friday around 3:15PM for lunch. Only one other couple dining in and a few pick ups.

Service was friendly and helpful.

Food was fresh, well designed and delicious. I especially loved my Goat Cheese (subtle) Creamy Tomato soup, but the Roast Beef Sandwich and my partner's French Dip Sandwich were awesome, too. Great flavors and textures.

The Fresh Strawberry lemonade was better than the Jones Soda Blue one, but those are at least more premium fountain soda options.

From what my partner implied, the prices are rather high, so it's not a low-cost diner, but it is worth it if you can splurge.

There is limited free parking that is shared with multiple other businesses, including a good Sushi place (we've enjoyed a few times), Thai and couple other options. We wanted Raman, but I think they were closed for some reason.

I didn't notice outlets for business meetings, but otherwise might make a quaint location to meet up. Could use more comfortable chairs, some flowers on the tables to vibe up the place for romantic dates and potentially music, thus the 4 stars on Atmosphere, but I dig the wall art a LOT. VERY Cool inspiration!
