Ordered boba with my latte and they end up telling me there was no boba after making my drinks. Fortunately they didn’t charge me but the cashier could’ve at least told me there was none. Waste of time!!

This was the place me and my best friend would hang out and drink some coffee and eat some bagels 🥯. He lives in Texas now and I don't get to see him much. Stayed with him for about 3 weeks 2 years ago during Thanksgiving. It was a great time. He was having some problems lately and I'm dealing with my service dog passing away. I was really close to her. I couldn't believe it but she got sick with liver problems she was born with and it just now started giving her problems. She went from 85 pounds down to 48 in 6 months. It was like seeing my mother die of pancreatic cancer it's not curable so my mother did experimental treatment to help others. She was doing chemo and radiation treatment and went from 120 pounds down to looking like a skeleton. After that I couldn't take care of her anymore. So I called my sister and gave her my credit card because she wasn't working at the time. So she took my mother back to Oregon and I went back to Kentucky and ran my furniture store. She called me right after the 4th of July to tell me she was going to die that night. I just hit the floor and was crying out of control. I just didn't want her to go. I was her only son and I couldn't handle it. My sister called me a few hours later and told me she was gone. It's really weird that she knew when she was going to die. It's a sad thing. Both my mom and my dad died in their early 50's. I've now outlived both of them and it feels really strange. I was worried that something might happen to me in my early 50's so I've been worried about that lol. Peace and blessings every one.

Came with 10 minutes left just get their famous bags of tea and the weird lady behind the register waived me off when they were still open horrible experience not sure why I even bothered to give my money to such a horrible company.

They know why. I haven't been there in a year. The owner/manager isn't that interested in customer service. I appreciate his dismissive behavior because it finally made me stop paying $5 for one cup of coffee. It got me into homemade mud brews. I'm not just good. I'm grrrrrreat!

The barista was very rude. Also I ordered a large iced latte and it was 90% ice. Worst Coffee Bean location.

I will start off with the strength of this location - the two young ladies on shift at 11 AM on 11/2/24. The young woman that took my order was very warm and friendly. She complimented my hair on a day I was not feeling my best. Oh, and, ladies, the intersection of Mariposa and Wilshire can at times be like a wind tunnel so expect your hair to go crazy. Regardless of this my hair was complimented, lol! Although, I must admit I used my reflection in a nearby window to fix my hair before I went into the cafe. As you can imagine she changed my whole day! The barista did a great job with the drink and exuded friendliness.

Of note to me is that this location is great for people watching. Cosmopolitan people watching, not boring suburban people watching. In my mind I was transported to Tokyo. People everywhere and most of them are making some sort of statement. That’s why I love this area which is pretty much the heart of Koreatown. I sat near the door that faces Wilshire.

The large iced oatmilk latte I ordered was good. The chocolate croissant was as well. Predictable I guess but the lattes can be ruined elsewhere at times. Total for both items was less than $11.

This location has a lot of traffic at times, but it doesn’t seem it’s ever hard to find a table.

They do not have a bathroom - pretty lame - but there is a nearby bathroom in the plaza.

There are at least three choices to park in the area if you choose a structure and there’s meter parking but it’s hard to get meter parking around here.

Ordered their brown sugar boba drink and it tasted gross. I asked for another drink and the girl said she would not comp me and would charge for the new drink ! Starbucks would never !!! Trash customer service.
She agreed with me that the drink is not good. I was too upset to ask for a refund!
