I stopped by Coffee Bean on 3rd and Alameda in Downtown LA and was treated w/ disrespect when I requested my drink to be made over because the server had not added the sweetness to it. He took the drink back, but never made an effort to remake. When I asked if he was going to remake it he got smart with me and when I responded to his smart remark then the other server decided he had something to say. I called to speak to the manager Copaul who was no better as a matter of fact his attitude was WORSE. He goes on to say they have to ALWAYS deal with people requesting their drinks to be rremade. If that happens so often when do you say to yourself maybe it's NOT the customer and perhaps it's something we're doing wrong. I asked the manager for the Corporate Office number and needless to say he hung up in my face. Service now days is really BAD when you think it's ok to ignore the fact that your drinks are not being made correctly and to think it's ok to hang up in someone's face. That was my FIRST & LAST TIME GOING THERE. I will make sure I report each and EVERYONE of them.

love love love this place. been coming here to do homework for a few days now. the tree covering is thick enough so that it blocks out 75% of the sun (so no sunburns!) but you still get light in. have yet to see the string lights come on at night at this place because I only go in the afternoon but I bet it's so cool.

They've got quite a selection here. It's like having the whole rainbow of milk teas, and then Willy Wonka took the menu out for a spin. This place will amaze you with things you have never thought of before. For better or worse. Such as tiered beverages- they look great to post on Instagram, but how are you supposed to drink them? Shaking didn't seem plausible nor appetizing.Taste: It's pretty good, especially if you have a sweet tooth. If you like a more accentuated tea flavor, this may not be the right place. But who knows, maybe I just didn't get the right one yet. There's like a billion to choose from so don't blame me. Also, they run out of boba pretty quick. Maybe they should get on that overcooked game and fire some up.Location: great place to chill. Not too many seats, but it's fairly cozy. Situated at a fairly good area, but it's all pay to park on the streets.Service: Good service. Cordial and answered without attitude. Nice.Overall: I like my milk teas to be more tea than milk, but as a milk tea dessert, it's pretty up there. I'd go again if I was feeling like a sugar high.

We went to Motto Tea Cafe today and really enjoyed it. We tried the Uji Kintoki Matcha and the Ovaltino Nutellamisu Mousse.I was really impressed with how unique their drinks are. My daughter loves uji kintoki (which is usually shaved ice topped with red bean and green tea and sometimes condensed milk) so she was very excited to try it in drink form. This drink actually comes with mochi balls. The tea itself has a nice light flavor.

This is no longer corporate headquarters since 2019 and is larger franchise store in front of the office building. It's run well and is spacious and has friendly staff. The wifi improved since reopening faster than expected for most coffee houses. Many outlets and public bathrooms available. Thanks for reopening.

I decided to stop by the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf with my friend while they had a study session and the atmosphere was one of the most inviting ones I had ever been to. There's plenty of space to work and enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea whilst surrounded by the green surrounding the building. The big glass windows let in natural sunlight and lend a feeling of relaxation and comfort, especially when accompanied by the great music in the establishment. The drinks are delicious and made swiftly with the care it so well deserves. I spoke to the owner of the shop and he couldn't have been more inviting and grateful that we chose to stop by. I would highly recommend this Coffee Bean for its welcoming environment and staff!

Sadly, this location is now permanently CLOSED and its last day was 10/16/2020. It was the flagship location of Coffee Bean (in the same building as their corporate office) and was definitely the nicest, most comfortable Coffee Bean I had ever been to. It wasn't my favorite coffee place, but the service was good and I liked their teas and sandwiches. Like many other coffee shops, they reduced their hours after the coronavirus, but I had no idea they would be closing for good. My understanding is other Coffee Bean locations have also closed ever since a Filippino company bought the company in 2019 and that they are moving their headquarters to Baldwin Hills.

I rank this location best of all coffee beans for seating area and comfort. There is alot of indoor and outdoor seating consisting of plush sofas, high back leather chairs and tables. It's located in a large office bldg just east of LACMA. There are several nice restaurants nearby and a large Ralph's a block away.Service is great.

One of my fave spots! For sure a go to. You HAVE to try the corned beef hash at least once in your life & I can guarantee you'll want to get it every time thereafter. The banana bread French toast is out of this world too if you have a sweet tooth like me! I also recommend getting a side of bacon to put in that cheddar biscuit they bring you with the corned beef hash skillet. :)

Really like this place. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable; and if they don't know the answer they'll help find someone who does. Kevin was awesome in educating us about different types of dog food. Prices are moderate to competitive. The self washing tubs are a little pricy but I suppose water is scarce here ;).
