This coffee shop is a gem! If you're in the West side and need a place to study, this is a great place to check out.Most of the seating is outdoors on a large patio. There is a large tree providing shade to the outdoor seating area, and it's a super relaxing place to read or do work. At night, they turn on strings of lights that create a lovely atmosphere.Drinks are reasonably priced, not exorbitant like some other places on the West Side. The Mayan Mocha was delicious, with a strong mocha flavor and spices.

I'm so happy I finally got to try out this cafe! I was greeted by the super nice (and cute!) workers and the open, bright space. One of the ladies even offered my dog water to have outside since it was such an unusually, but beautiful day in the city. I was definitely overwhelmed by all the options since I just wanted to try em all, but I ended up going with the lavender iced latte and the Let's Avocuddle toast.

This place.... I'm so glad I got to try it! What better way to try the birthday cake latte on your birthday! It was sooo good and pretty! Very instagrammable! Also, got the BRA-VO toast and it was the bomb! Very filling and perfect before hiking! I wish or hope I can find something like this back in Florida! The ladies that helped us were great! Very nice and pleasant! Such a cute spot, highly recommend!

My favorite brunch place in the Los Angeles county area. I came here two days in a row! Every dish is perfect, from their breakfast skillets to their vegetarian omelette. I can eat their jam by the bucketfuls. Their iced coffee is also special, they use cream instead of regular milk. Service is great and it is 100% worth the wait. Skip Jeremy's, City Hall, and all of the other LC/ Montrose hotspots and come to Black Cow.

NO COFFEE FOR YOU! NO REFUND EITHER= THEFT! summary of events: Went to this coffee bean, my daily go to. I drink coffee bean every day unfortunately am addicted to the coffee drinking scene. Also unfortunate is this locations proximity to my dailys. I am forced to go here but ALWAYS place mobile orders for due reason. Forget about Covid 19 guidance measures being followed here as well. I went to this location and was flat out ignored 4 times. I mean really ignored. Like the kind of ignoring where you feel embarrassed for everyone in the room. The people in the room where just me, and four to five other workers. All apparently close with Sergio who is the head Chieftan of this store. He also will never be fired according to him. I asked if the drink sitting on the counter (melting for five minutes) was mine. To which im ignored. I am standing close enough where he can definitely hear me/see me. Store is very small. All staff ignored me. But the two closest to me were Sergio and some younger guy. I get ignored twice in a room by simply asking if the drink was for my name. I would of just looked and grabbed it but ya know... UNPRECEDENTED DEADLY PANDEMIC! ALL These children do not care of this issue though as is evident in their behaviour of having customers wait in a queue at the end for their drinks huddled together. No one ever separates the customers or says anything about that ever. So after I see the drink is in fact for me. I ask for a straw, never mind the other drink i ordered which is missing. At this point i just want to get away from these tools and not get covid and just drink my iced blended outside. You would think they would appreciate my distancing and not want to be near me either. SO i ask for a straw because they are all hidden and they have an awesome policy of making you ask. BTW AM I SUPPOSED TO SUCK THROUGH THE TINY WHOLE WITH THE BUBBLE LID? HOW ELSE DOES ONE DRINK AN ICED BLENDED DRINK WITH WHIPPED CREAM AND NO STRAW?! Let us not provide spaghetti without a fork. I ask for the straw, IGNORED. i ASK AGAIN VERY NICELY. then the youngest one says "YAYA HOLD ON!" very rude aggressive manner. He snatches the drink from me. and refuses to serve me. he never once asked me to leave but refused. I immediately ask for a refund because at this point I dont ever want to deal with this crew. BTW only two of them actually did anything wrong. unless you count standing around doing nothing to help the customer wrong too. So he says ill refund you, (hes lying). Then I don't see the refund after i leave the store. I check my card to make sure I didn't just get punked by Sergio and ripped off. Sure enough no refund. I go back in the store and Sergio comes out the back room all hot and sweating. Now he has a tiny baby receipt in his hands and a pen. He comes out and leans on the counter all gangster like and proceeds to yell at me when I asked for his name" WRITE IT DOWN! I DON'T CARE! Love the ambiance of this little hole in the wall coffee stop. I've honestly only gotten one thing here, the same thing every time I go (it's why I stop here) and that's the Lavender White Mocha. Very, very delicious. Next time though, I want to try their nitro cold brew. It's a nest looking setup that they have, and I love a good cold brew.
