We love coffee bean , but specially for this location the guy making the coffee been constantly extremely rude. The third time it’s happening in the last month , I won’t come again to this coffee bean and I regret I left a tip .. this is shameful!!!

I ordered three varieties of single origin coffees from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf from their website. It took longer to process and ship than other vendors that I use. I understand that freshly roasted coffees may take time logistically when small batch roasting is at play, but that is not the case with this company. They are perfectly ok with roasting a coffee and letting it sit on a shelf for months before shipping out the stale product. They do place roast date labels on the individual package to remind the consumer that they have sent stale, lifeless beans. Their business model is horrible and they also will not allow certain bad reviews on their own website even though they invite consumers to post reviews. I saw several one-star reviews that they allowed without censoring, but if it is to critical then they intervene. Horrible.

The female barista was polite but unfortunately me and my mom got sick just from drinking a few sips of our drinks. 2 totally different iced beverages so I think it was the ice machine that probably needed cleaning. It’s unfortunate because we drove all the way from Orange County to spend time at The Grove and we had to leave because we both just got extremely sick. What made it worse was that we called the location to politely warn them and spoke to a male employee who sounded annoyed rather than concerned. I suggest management keep a closer eye on the maintenance of the machines and products as well as train their employees on how to handle these situations.
The drinks here are so damn good !! I had an iced matcha my god the best matcha I’ve had in my life. A really nice place to grab some coffe and enjoy the grove awesome views.
