I stood in line for over five minutes while four people, including a supervisor didn’t even greet me. When I questioned on what someone going to help me, the shift supervisor gave me attitude and told me that she was on the headset taking a different order. When I asked Who was supposed to be ringing up or the bar back she got defensive. I then informed her that I used to work for Coffee Bean and I know that they’re supposed to be someone at the register at all times, including a bar back to help pool, pastries, and brewed coffee orders, but yet still wanted to tell me that I was in the wrong for questioning why she wasn’t helping me. Then the store manager came out because she heard me raise my voice. I told her that when I asked who the store manager was two of the young ladies pointed to the shift supervisor and which I told her why I was bothered. She understood and at least apologized. It’s not even rush-hour. To not even be greeted when I first entered the store and to have a shift supervisor make me feel that the person in the drive thru was more important than me is unacceptable. You had one person on drive-through, one hot bar, one on cold bar… Then you are the primary person who should be ringing up guests. If you cannot handle it or your team cannot handle it, then this is something you should bring up to your store manager or maybe corporate should get involved. It’s very unacceptable and I’m never going to this location again.

For content, there were three cars in the drive-through and one person on the patio. No other orders.

The ambiance is modern yet cozy, making it a versatile space for dining.

The interior didn't feel very inviting, I think this was more of a drive thru location, so that's probably why.

Their coffee is great pair with an everything avocado toast and you have breakfast of champions.

The coffee is rich and strong. Their avocado toast is fenomenal.

I love coming to this location, the staff is always so welcoming and warm.

Ordered coffee, and it was delivered tasting very burnt, and when complained, I was not refunded the full amount I paid. This is very bad service and a very bad way to start someone's morning. Coffee bean ought to be ashamed.

My wife had the best time at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf! She loved the lemonade — perfectly refreshing for a work session on her laptop. The atmosphere was cozy, and the Wi-Fi kept up with her busy day. Plus, the staff were incredibly friendly, making sure everyone felt welcome. It’s the kind of spot where nice people make nice treats, and you can settle in to sip, snack, and stay awhile. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, productive vibe with delicious drinks!

After 10 years of going thru the drive thru here and getting a large Flat White over ice , today on March 13, 2025 I was told by 3 different people that they don’t have that drink there and one implied that they never did have that available. Byeeee

It's become mu favorite café. There's usually a line, but it always moves quickly. The staff is always polite and quick to correct a mistake with my order.

Been here to grab coffee regularly and there is group of older guys that hangs out inside and acts like they own the restroom. They harass customers who are using it during their visit. I told an employee and she observed it and let them stay even after being confrontational. 👎

I love Coffee Bean, but this has to be one of the worse locations. I go here because the drive thru is convenient, but there is always an issue every time I go.

“Sorry, we can’t make anything with espresso because our water filtration is broken”.

“Sorry we can’t make any iced drinks because our ice machine is broken”.

I understand that things happen, but there is an issue literally every time I go there. It’s making me start to wonder if the staff is just lazy and making things up so as to not have to serve. If that isn’t the case, management needs to do a much better job with the maintenance here.

awesome spot that’s been on this corner for years. so glad to have it in the neighborhood. baristas are great and drinks hit the spot! the new remodel looks great and drive thru is convenient when needed!

I have been going to this CBTL location for nearly 20 years (since it opened when I was a kid!) and consider it such an important part of this little slice of West LA. Nowhere better to get a perfect iced blended!
