We recently moved to the area and have driven past The Dough Room countless times, noticing its solid reviews and lively vibe. Tonight, we finally decided to check it out for ourselves. For a Sunday evening, the restaurant had a decent crowd and a pleasant atmosphere inside. They also have a large outdoor patio, which initially caught our interest, but when we arrived, it was completely empty — a little disappointing since we were hoping for a more lively outdoor dining experience.
The service was average overall and felt slightly disorganized at times, though everyone was friendly. The menu is extensive, offering a good mix of Italian-inspired dishes along with a nice cocktail list and solid beer selection. And the prices are fair.
We started with the garlic knots, which unfortunately were on the dry side and didn’t quite hit the mark. The wings were a winner for our table- crispy on the outside, with a sweet & zesty sauce, and juicy on the inside. The salads were also delicious — both the Caesar and the chopped salad were fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced.
Since this is primarily a pizza spot, we had high hopes for the main course. We went with “The Spicy Bear” — pepperoni, Calabrian chili, ricotta, Mike’s Hot Honey, and basil. While the idea sounded promising, the execution fell flat. The crust was dry, the overall flavor felt muted, and the honey was overly dominant, overshadowing the other ingredients instead of complementing them.
All in all, our experience was just okay. The wings, salads and drink menu might bring us back, but for pizza, we may keep exploring other options in the area before returning here. If we do come back, it might just be for cocktails on the patio (hopefully when it’s busier).

Don’t order take out from this place!!!
Ordered via Uber Eats. Was really looking forward to trying this place out, but my pizza order arrived unsealed! Who doesn’t seal the pizza??? Doesn’t feel safe to eat so it went in the trash can! Waste of money! Will be reporting ASAP!
Great food. And our waiter was super nice. I had the burger, fries, and the brussel sprouts appetizer… all of them were great. The flavor combo of the brussel sprouts was spot on.

They have tasty pizza and salad, lots of craft beer, and friendly staff in a casual atmosphere. What else could we want from a place like this?

Great place with good food. Pizza 🍕 , salad 🥗 and pasta 😋 were great options for us. There is limited spaces for tables inside and outside, same as parking spaces, especially when a baseball team shows up for a dinner. Enjoy your visit and have fun.

Recently moved to the area and I pass by this place on my commute. Finally took my partner here and super glad we did!
Clean, modern décor; good use of the space they have - with even an outside patio for seating.
No complaints w/ the food, everything was genuinely delicious. We had the Spicy Pig - really good pizza dough and considering the establishment name, that's the bare minimum lol. The Brussel Sprouts with a layer of goat cheese on the bottom was heaven! Mozzarella sticks were standard tasting (but superb texture) but we're not trying to reinvent the wheel or anything w/ a classic favorite.
We were here last Sunday just before happy hour ended (also a plus they have weekend Happy Hour timeframes!) and whoever was tending the bar drinks then - please share our compliments for very well-executed, delectable cocktails. We've had Sazeracs from NOLA and I am a Negroni enthusiast - so the Strawberry Negroni and Sazerac cocktails were definitely a highlight. The cocktail quality alone would have us coming back for more.
Christian S. was our server and he was very courteous and professional the entire time.
Overall, really great experience and we'll definitely be back for round 2 of scrumptious eats and sips.

Restaurantji Recommends
My family and I came from OR to visit our family here in LA and we wanted a place that would be able to accommodate our party of 10 with kids. After searching we can across this restaurant and based on the pictures and reviews decided to give it a try. It totally exceeded our expectations with their delicious pizza, amazing service and aesthetic atmosphere. I would highly recommend it for a large crowd or dinner for two.

The cheesecake is the worst. We were told it was"homemade." If so, don't ever say yes to dessert at their house.
Service was great, good happy hour deals. Ordered the hapoy hour specialty pizza (2am) and an alfredo pasta. Pasta was OK but the pizza was not tasty.

Very fun place to have a big party dinner with friends. Even though it was a little cold outside they had plenty of nice heaters. Service was friendly and prompt, food came out on time and very warm. The roasted brussel sprouts were a little too burnt. The fungi pizza was very tasty and not too thick, a little crispy. The beet salad was refreshing. The pasta was al dente and sauce not too salty, a bit oily though. I was satisfied with everything.
