Our restaurant we went to for our first date so now it's tradition every year, and we still love it!
I really wanted to love this restaurant specially because of all the good reviews and awards that it has but for me it was a 6 out of 10. Let me explain why, service was good not great we asked for wine twice and the first time she brought us water bottle and then the second time she only brought my partner his glass. The restaurant wasn't crowded to say it was too loud or noisy just think she wasn't paying attention. First plate was good second plate was ok she forgot to mention it had pieces of sardines :/ not my fav but I tried it. Third plate which is their famous pasta, looked different it was a green sauced pasta with no protein. Third plate was the Brussels sprouts I was expecting crispy but they were a little water downed. Lastly dessert was apple cake, it was good. The overall presentation is good it's the old warehouse look with valet parking, nothing too special and prices were decent.
We shared the kale salad, the minestrone soup, mondenesi egg pasta and the pan seared guarnar. the food was as usual very tasty and the service good.
As always; the best. I moved out of state, when I want the best LA has to offer; the Factory Kitchen is there, consistent like the old school restaurants down town restaurants. ie Rex Il Restaurante. The Tower, Chow chow in China town off the alley and a few others who are no longer with us. The service is comparable to Mexico City, like the good old days. Long live the Factory Kitchen.
Our server was funny, informative, and attentive. Food was amazing and drinks were delicious !
Have not been there in a while but returned and they did not disappoint. All the pasta fresh and handmade. Service excellent. Need to support restaurants like this. .
Best pasta I’ve tasted in my life. Definitely deserves its Michelin award. Fairly priced without drinks expect $70-90 with 2 entrees and a starter

A well-balanced selection of prefix dishes that offer a mix of flavors, textures, and nutrients. A definite come back!
Delicious Food, Fast Service, Great Industrial Chic Space. Get the Prosciutto.

Expect to pay a high price for a pasta dish and be hungry afterwards. They can do better with substantial portions for a $30 dish. The atmosphere is nice, the food is not the greatest.

Sad to see this place has fallen off. Service nosedive, food quality the same. The only thing that has gone up is the number of loud children. For the price we paid celebrating our anniversary, I can't help but feel entirely ripped off. This place used to be great!

Sorry that its younger sister, Brera, has closed but Factory Kitchen's food better and more innovative than ever. Very attractive venue. Go earlier in the evening for a quieter experience but still less noisy and on par with Bestia.
Wonderful place. Sunday evening at 7 was very quiet so a perfect time for us. I think sharing dishes is a good way to go tho the pasta portions are for 1 person, sharing a variety keeps it interesting.
The food was fresh, interesting, and delicious. We recommend the prosciutto appetizer and any of the pastas. For dessert, we had the cannoli with pistachios and candied orange along with an Italian cappuccino. The service was exceptional.
