Great spot to meet up with friends watch games have drinks and also really close to a metro stop to go either West to Santa Monica or East downtown

One of the employees, claiming it was his bar, was on a total power trip. Hard to believe, with the way he was treating people, that he was the actual owner, but then again it explains why this sports bar was practically empty on a college football Saturday.

The premier place for sports and friends. Just had my fantasy draft at Garage on Motor Ave the other night and I can't wait to watch games there this season. The service was top shelf, friendly and accommodating. Definitely making it back for their wings and ribs at the end of the month, too!

Be careful when paying your tab. They automatically include a tip (20% I believe) on your bill without telling you then the card machine shows you a 3%, 5% and 7% options. Most people think these are the tip options and are surprised at how low they are, so they usually go for the 7%. So you think you're tipping 7% when in reality you're tipping 27%. Shady business that a lot of bars and restaurants are now using.

Ive had two visits to the Garage on Motor, and sadly the difference was huge for me. Coming in on a regular day, they were extremely nice and caring and felt very welcome. Came back today for the doggie happy hour event with my pup and was excited to meet new people. All the servers/hosts there were extremely nice and welcoming, even with all the pups and chaos. I noticed they were busy on the balcony so I asked if it would be easier to order inside, which they let me know was fine either way! I didn’t mind waiting so sat at the bar, and thats where my issue began. The bartender was overwhelmed which I completely get due to the volume of customers, but one after another I got ignored despite arriving before others. No problem, I was sitting in the corner so I get that I’m easy to miss. But when the bartender finally asked what I want, he was clearly bothered by my presence. I asked for a strawberry marg, which he said he was unable to do(and I got a very tasty one yesterday, so I figured maybe they ran out of mix due to the volume of custs). Its no problem, I asked what he recommended thats sweet and he responded in a very demeaning way, offering soda or juice (I do look very young, but still). I immediately began to feel uncomfortable, so told him whatever he recommended would be fine by me as I’m not picky! He seemed upset that I was tasking him with this, and made it clear through his responses and demeanor. Decided to politely cancel the order and walk out. Thank you to all the staff that was kind, and for the bartender, I am truly sorry you felt overwhelmed to a point where me asking for something politely would send you in a mood. Sadly, I don’t think I’d be willing to come back, but I’m sure if you arrive on a non-busy day their service will be great!

A prime example of a great neighborhood dive/sports bar. Excellent prices, effective staff, fun times. The karaoke is very fun and low key. Bar never gets too crowded or rowdy. It’s a more laid back & local version of Backstage or Gaslight, but isn’t clicky either.

Overall good experience. A bit on the pricier side with two pitchers of beer going for $80+

It's a perfectly average sports bar. It's nothing special, but it's not particularly bad. I used to go semi-regularly when I worked a couple blocks away. The food is ok, the service is hit and miss.

Went with a mixed group of friends including some couples. The creepy guy in the Boston gear behind the bar tried hitting on every girl in our group the entire night it was very uncomfortable. If it wasn’t already late when we went out we would’ve just left.Wouldn’t send any of my friends here unless that weirdo was gone.
