Such an amazing gem. Wanted to eat after a night out but finding vegan and healthy food was tough. This was worth the drive! The food was incredible, so flavorful, all organic and vegan. So much selection. We are the grain pancakes with the tofu scramble, sausage and has brown and the waffle deluxe. Generous portions and well seasoned as well as they served it with date syrup. The hot chocolate with oat milk was the best I've had. The cinnamon was so fresh and not too sweet. The vibe is such a trip because it's like entering a portal with snoop dog on a wall and then Mayan woodwork art.Great service too!100% recommend and open til 12a on a friday

$18 for a club sandwich feels insane to me. Didn’t even have avocado.

This is one of the few vegan Mexican restaurants that I truly admire and appreciate. As a true Latina I enjoyed delicious Mexican food. Their food is organic, vegan, and fairly clean. I say fairly because they use Daiya cheese, which is toxic and unhealthy. But if you avoid their cheese, you're good. But I appreciate and I am thankful that their food is not cooked in toxic seed oil. All their food except for their deserts are cooked with olive oil. This is a true healthy vegan place, minus the cheeses lol! You should give it a try tho. The service was good. The ambience is pretty chill and welcoming. Their hot drinks are great. Their crêpes are amazing as well as their waffles!!!. But sadly, their Tlayuda lacked flavor, it was small for the price, and very bland. Would not recommend it. But overall my experience with this establishment was beyond from what I expected. Please support it! We need more places like this one who really care about providing healthy and mostly nontoxic food to people. A true gem

I am SO grateful to have this place in my neighborhood. Absolutely unbelievable happy hour times with $3 a vegan taco, and the carne asada and potato & cheese are my fav! The carne asada has such nice little crispy bits and really reminds me of the real thing. The club sandwich is really good too, I get it at least once a month. Chilaquiles are the best vegan ones I've had, even my non vegan boyfriend loves them. They even gave us our tacos in a boat tonight! Oh and I found a table with an outlet so I come here to do work sometimes & get a cup of the house coffee (which is Cafe de olla).Vegetarian options: The best vegan carne asada tacos I've found in LA

Recommended dishes: Chilaquiles Breakfast, Pineapple Ginger Lemonade, Chicken Club Sandwich

One of the more laid back and least annoying vegan restaurants I've been to in a while. Very good menu with lots of good options. Very good chicken curry wrap and side salad was excellent. I def want to come back and try the Mexican

I come here literally every time I'm in the area. It's so good!I don't stray away from what I like. I usually get the pollo crepe with the potatoes. It's purdy delicious. The chicken is the right consistency and the sautéed mushroom and carrots add just the right flavor. They top and fill the crepe with pesto aioli, I ask for it without the top so that it isn't overwhelming. The potatoes are good though they're almost always on the colder side. I wish the potatoes were crispier.I have also had their kombucha and their lattes. All are excellent and sweetened perfectly. My boyfriend had the mole burrito. The mans picky but he's always down to drive an hour with me to get this burrito. That's saying a lot!I tried their patty crepe once and it was pretty good, I think the patty is made of beans. Not crazy about Bean patties so it didn't make it on my list of favorites.I've also tried their club sandwhich, which was very disappointing. You get maybe half of a serving of tempeh among lots of bread and without the mayo (which I omitted in an attempt to bring down the fat count) it was very bland and dry.I love this place and would love to bring my family to try their waffles, pancakes and eggs.I especially appreciate that their prices aren't ridiculous. Most vegan places try to take your arm and leg with them, but Grain Cafe is very reasonably priced.
