Great vibe and beer selection. Can be busy and parking is difficult but it's worth it.

WAYYYY TOO MANY KIDS HERE I love kids, but when I go to a bar I don't wanna be surrounded by them. I'm not even kidding tho. The whole outside area was crowded with strollers, pets, kids running around. I only had one beer and it was pretty good. We had fries and pickles which were also good. And then they closed down for the day because toilets were overflowing. This was all within an hour of being here lol I don't think I'll be in any rush to return here anytime soon

Apparently to be a bartender here you have to be angry and annoyed. I love this spot and the vibe of it - it's just wild to me how aloof and irritable the bartenders are. Like you don't have to be fake nice to every guest but just a general welcoming-vibe seems reasonable. They literally carry the energy of angsty bitter middle schoolers but they are grown men. Sorry for bothering you guys by ordering a drink at a bar where the purpose is for people to order drinks. Otherwise the other servers are nice, great ambience, the drinks are good and the food is ok.

This place is chill. Always fun and cool for happy hour. Service is good, servers always checking-in to see if you need another drink!

The service was one star, the food was about three stars, and the beer was four. While the food was tasty at a great price, I have not received that much attitude from a bartender in years and will not be back. I went up to the counter to order a beer, diet coke, tacos, and a shrimp sandwich. The first bartender was not friendly, but not rude, more just a general indifference. That would cause me to say four stars at worst, people have bad days and I don't need to be smiled at if you do your job otherwise well. I gave him my food order, the order for the diet coke, and I asked to try two beers. He brought them, and another bartender asked what I was having, so I told him which beer I wanted. When the second bartender came back he rang me up for one beer, so I told him I had ordered two food items as well and a diet cook. He said, "Not with me" and showed me the total. I looked at the order and saw that it was just the beer on the order, so I repeated myself. His response, looking annoyed, was just "Yeah, not with me." I asked if I could have my order added to this and he now looking very annoyed says "yes, after you pay," while looking straight at me. There was another customer standing there that he was also trying to help, but this was at around 2:30 and it was not that busy. He never went to check with one of the other guys, wouldn't combine the orders, and was an ass. The tacos were decent, I'd give them 3 stars. Right amount of meat, flavorful toppings. The sandwich was original and tasty, a solid 3.5 stars. The price was There's plenty of amazing beer in Los Angeles, I would not go back and definitely would not recommend it.

This has been always been one of my favorite bars in LA, but has gotten even better over the last few years with the new patio area. Great selection of beer, wine, kombucha, etc., solid bar food, and the staff is always helpful and willing to let you do a taste of something before ordering. Wanted to also chime in regarding H.R.'s one star review of the bar. We were outside that night as well, and her telling of events is hilariously untrue. She assaulted a patron, threatened a second patron, poured a beer on a third patron, and was finally asked to leave by staff. Her husband also threatened our table despite us not being a part of the kerfuffle she started with the people at the table next to us. It was definitely an eventful night, but the staff handled the situation well given how unruly she and her party were.

Not a safe place. I was verbally accosted and insulted by a male patron here. When I asked for an apology, he shoved me, twice. I'm just glad my friends talked him down and it didn't escalate further.

Enjoyed very much pre-pandemic. Still enjoy greatly now, especially since in the mean time we had a child and can now sit outside with her! Food is always excellent and the smashburgers are the best in town. Staff are just the best. No notes.

I love this spot. The employees are chill, yet friendly. The tap list is always legit and the smash burgers are delicious. In fact, the food is so good that I often forget this is kind of a dive bar, but the bathrooms remind me. That's the only reason I can't give this spot a 5. The bathrooms are kinda gross. Outside of that, I highly recommend it.
