I've been twice now, and each time the cashier has been very helpful and kind, while I figured out what I wanted. The place is very clean, the food is fresh and tasty, but there's no mistaking it's a fast food kebab joint. The side salad on the plate was really nice, the saffron rice was kind of hard, and the chicken was a little dry. But the yogurt sauce definitely helps there. My grandmother is Syrian so I usually don’t like the hummus or tabouleh at restaurants because it’s never season correctly, but I loved both here. They were packed with lots of lemon, garlic, and spice, as it should be. Will be back!
I was really craving kebab when I coincidentally drove past this spot on my way to best buy. Nestled between several chain stores, this isn’t the type of restaurant I would typically go but I’m so happy I did, every detail was spot on: ease of ordering, perfect seasoning, ability to adjust the spice level, diy sauce station (with pumps—very sanitary), toasted wrap, etc. The huge portion was a bit much but I understand we’re in Glendale and it’s expected.
