Rude and discriminatory bartender Was loudly and publicly rejected for drinks by a rude bartender because of how I looked upon waking in. I have a chronic illness that causes eye issues. Was mad disrespectful. Seems like new ownership and staff, never had issues previous 10 years coming here and was a big fan as a local.
I've been here about three times now. Each visit came with a lot of reluctance and for one reason alone, and after my most recent visit this week, I'm just about done with Little Bar, which is unfortunate because the joint isn't half bad aesthetically and the music can be quite good. But my gosh, the service was ABYSMAL. When I tell you the bartender (with the half-gray, half-purple pixie cut) is far and away the worst bartender I've ever met in LA, I say it with no exaggeration; she is perhaps the coldest, unfriendliest, most discourteous and abrasive person I've met in her position of hospitality, and I say that as someone who's been in the same industry for years. Her sheer lack of awareness, personability, common courtesy - I could go on - was just astounding. How she still works there is a complete wonder to me, but also goes to show me that management, and really, ownership, take no accountability for her poor behavior and overall terrible service thein establishment embodies. And I trust this review will do very little to move the needle in that regard. No drink is good enough to justify paying to be sneered at. Little Bar, big attitude, zero hospitality.
The new owners ruined the interior. It used to have cozy, private booths and dim lighting. Last time I went it was a big open bright room. Killed the dive bar vibe.
Not only that, last time I was there the bartender and the owner(?) got in to a fight and he kicked everyone out and closed the place.
Not only that, they have no consistent hours- sitting across the street at All Seasons, I’ll see it shuttered at 9pm on a Friday night, and then other times it’s open.
I used to go here every week, I haven’t been back in a couple years now. Damn shame.
The woman working at the bar definitely doesn't know how to treat people

The person working at the bar doesn't know how to talk to people and is extremely rude
Closed at 1 am. So if you got here at 1230 and chose to be at a place that closes at 2. This ain't it. Shit....if you got here at 1255 it doesn't matter. Closes when they feel like....not the hrs posted. :( find a better place is my only advice.
No food but service is great and atmosphere is chill enough.
Was refused service by the bartender/owner who claimed she couldn’t serve or allow me and my girlfriend in their establishment because they wouldn’t accept her valid ID.
Great cocktails, no food though
Cool A$$ spot and Rojia is an awesome bartender.

Best dive in Mid-city
Cool little spot. Decent size but what we enjoyed were the strong drinks and decent music selection.
Sometimes the best things come in little packages, Little Bar is one of those packages, this place is great! I have few go to's for cocktails in LA, Little Bar for me is the best one to go to for quality drinks. In my opinion Little Bar deserves an all around hard 5 star, for service and amazing tasing cocktails here's why I give this place a 5 star:
Let me just start with Rojia the bartender. She is truly a force, she makes really good cocktails, and delivers a great customer experience. This is one of the only places I can go to by myself to have a drink and not feel concerned about my safety. Rojia is actually a really great bar owner she really knows how to run her business, she talks to everyone and pretty much knows her cliental really well. The ambience she creates is always good, and the bathrooms are always clean. Every detail in this bar, big or small is a reflection of Rojia. She really knows how to create community, and keep the local customers coming back. If you haven't gone to Little Bar in LA, her name is Rojia. She is by far one of the best if not the best bartender in LA.
Kid-friendliness: Rojia truly understands her cliental, she really knows how to create a sense of community while making amazing drinks. Even when it’s super busy, she makes sure that everyone is being attended to and her bartending skills are impeccable. No matter how busy it gets here and she may be the only bartender working in that moment the quality of the drinks is never affected.
Rojia makes a great drink and is friendly, trust me she will make you come back.
