Best dive in Mid-city
Cool little spot. Decent size but what we enjoyed were the strong drinks and decent music selection.
Sometimes the best things come in little packages, Little Bar is one of those packages, this place is great! I have few go to's for cocktails in LA, Little Bar for me is the best one to go to for quality drinks. In my opinion Little Bar deserves an all around hard 5 star, for service and amazing tasing cocktails here's why I give this place a 5 star:
Let me just start with Rojia the bartender. She is truly a force, she makes really good cocktails, and delivers a great customer experience. This is one of the only places I can go to by myself to have a drink and not feel concerned about my safety. Rojia is actually a really great bar owner she really knows how to run her business, she talks to everyone and pretty much knows her cliental really well. The ambience she creates is always good, and the bathrooms are always clean. Every detail in this bar, big or small is a reflection of Rojia. She really knows how to create community, and keep the local customers coming back. If you haven't gone to Little Bar in LA, her name is Rojia. She is by far one of the best if not the best bartender in LA.
Kid-friendliness: Rojia truly understands her cliental, she really knows how to create a sense of community while making amazing drinks. Even when it’s super busy, she makes sure that everyone is being attended to and her bartending skills are impeccable. No matter how busy it gets here and she may be the only bartender working in that moment the quality of the drinks is never affected.
Rojia makes a great drink and is friendly, trust me she will make you come back.

This is the best little dive bar in LA. Rojia makes fire mezcal margaritas and most importantly I feel safe as a single woman at the bar alone.

There was a solo bartender here the night I went and it was quite crowded - she didn’t even have a bar back! I do not know her name, but I’ve never seen someone hold down the fort like that. 10/10 please give her a raise.

Rojia is incredible. Helped us host a meet n’ greet for our non-profit (Experience Camps- grief camp for kids), was nothing but lovely and accommodating throughout. Best reliable bar on La Brea.

Bartender made me cry. I ordered one of the cheapest shots and only had $10, thought that would be enough as I had a more expensive shot across the street for $6.17. He hands me the shot and its $15, i apologized and said i didn’t know it would be $15, and i wouldnt be able to have the shot. There was a kind woman next to me who said “you know what, pay your $10, ill pay 5” i said no i cant do that, i wouldn’t want you to have to pay for me, and she said it was fine. The bartender however, did not want to accept her money. He said i should have asked himbefore he poured the shot, and i apologized saying i ordered a cheap shot and i didnt realize it would be that much, im sorry. He wasn’t having it. People started coming up saying the shot surely wont go to waste, because one of them would buy it, but the bartender absolutely wasn’t having it. At that point i said im really sorry, i didnt know it was that big of a deal, and luckily i left before i started crying. If you want kindness and empathy, do not go here.
