Cool place. Not packed which is nice. Friendly staff, good food. If they would only carry more of the every day spirits.

Service was okay, cocktails were good, food was very subpar. Two of us ordered the duck cassoulet, which easily was the worst preparation I’ve ever had. While the duck confit was hot, the beans were lukewarm and the garlic sausage was downright cold. Save your money and go to the KFC across the parking lot; at least they probably have heating ovens that work and staff that know how to use them.

Good meal last night, but definitely some notable pluses and minuses. First - the food. Food was great! Huge veggie tray app, fresh and good to share. A few tasty margarita’s. Salmon was cooked perfect, and the cauliflower a delicious “char”. The only not so great was the chocolate pots du crème - a bit hard and not tasty at all. Overall, food was delicious. Atmosphere was fun, high energy, upbeat, cross of date nights and friends. The downsides - service could have been a bit more attentive - not bad, but room for improvement. No one greeted us upon arrival, so a bit confusing. Then after we ordered, our food came out super quick - all at once - appetizer and mains. It sure would have been nice to enjoy more than one cocktail, and have our app come out first - having time to enjoy it. Then have it taken away to make room for our main course. But weirdly - it was all at once - not a great dining experience - shame, because the food is very good just overwhelmed and could enjoy an app and main and feel so rushed. Then, our server was nice - but asked if she could give us our check, never asked if we wanted dessert? And we did - and we had to ask her! We got the chocolate - and sadly, maybe that’s why she didn’t offer dessert, it was the only food that was not good at all. Finally - tequila is one of the hottest “spirits” these days, yet despite a well stocked bar they offered only one “house” tequila … some Fortaleza repo would have been nice, any “choice” of more than one would have been nice. So - we ended up taking most of our food home in a brown bag, just weird not having time to enjoy a night out - to be so rushed and sent on our way - no pacing - no dessert ask, not great training. So - mixed. Knowing this - I’d suggest “apps first please” - don’t rush us. I’d have spent more time, more money, more joy - but they crushed what should have been a great night out.

Service is some of the best I’ve had in LA! A friendly, knowledgeable bar staff that made great drinks. The Saturday night cocktail and food menu didn’t disappoint. Will definitely be back to this hidden gem.

We had a great evening with friends @ the Manchester. It was our first time trying the place & everything was great starting from cocktails, bread, warm olives & the dinner. Also, can't forget about our great server Boni he was very attentive & helped with our selections. Definitely a place to return to.

From the moment you're greeted at the door to when you square away the bill, the Manchester is gem of a restaurant. Ive tried most of the menu already and hands down the Steak and fries are a 10 outta 10. The braised beef and the salmon are great too. Manchester also has a knowledgeable bar staff that can craft you a perfect cocktail as well. I've had a go from the vodka dirty martini, old fashion all the way to a mojito. All of them perfect. The place is dimly lit and not loud at all, which can make it an exceptional place to have a peaceful dinner. Great for intimate party of 2 or mmmaybe groups of up to six I think. Overall: It's always an enjoyable time to stop by here for a quality dinner and served up by an exceptional staff member. Looking forward to becoming a regular. Cheers!

This spot was a little tricky to find. Had to confirm with my gps a couple times to make sure I was in the correct place. There wasn't too much parking in the area, just a few spots in the back and the rest was street parking. It has a very unassuming exterior with just a plain blue neon sign above its windowless storefront. If you're not careful, you'll walk right past their very subtle door. It almost felt like we were entering a secret club. As uninviting as its exterior was, it was very cozy and welcoming once we got inside. We were seated in a roomy booth and were promptly served a bottle of water. Our server checked on us often and was very helpful. It wasn't a very extensive menu but had some interesting options on there. I opted for the bordeaux braised short rib, which came with parmesan polenta and grilled asparagus. It was a tasty entree and quite filling. We finished our meal with the winston seasonal pecan pie with vanilla ice cream. Definitely a place worth trying.
