Seriously everything that could go wrong on our day in LA did EXCEPT for our stay at The Moment Hotel.

Well located and super staff. A lil jank in the room like faint odor from the pipes, construction ongoing, the mattress not great, but priced much better than some surrounding while not sacrificing safety or being nasty

Clean rooms, prompt service, friendly staff. This was a great place to stay. It’s located in an area close to Hollywood blvd and all the food you can access. The only part that was an issue of course is the parking for almost 40 dollars a day. But thats minor compared to the hotel itself.
Walkability: Able to walk to almost restaurants

Personally I enjoyed my first time at the Moment Hotel. I was here in October last month on a solo trip for just a few days. They let me drop my bag off before checking at 4pm while I just roamed around Hollywood in the meantime. Checking in was a breeze as well as checking out. My room was lovely. The bathroom was very clean, my bed was tidy and comfortable, and my tv and electronic shutters (very cool) worked just fine. I do wish the rooms had a microwave, or that there was one on each floor for guests to use. I will keep this place in mind for when I need to stay in the area again.

Not the best experience for a 4x stars hotel… I had to wait 1h30 in a dirty lobby because my room was not ready in time.
Then, my room was soundproof while it was on the blv which makes sleeping impossible. I asked to change for another room and they wanted to charge me for the change. The shower was only warm but couldn’t be hot… I’m not recommending this hotel when you pay 250$ for a night !

Location is a little sketchy but walking to the hills and over toward Santa Monica blvd was nicer than either sunset or Hollywood Blvd. check in wasn’t great. We got there early and the woman at the front desk told us to come back in an hour and our room would be ready and she checked us in ( at least she acted like she did). We asked for a map or restaurant locations and she gave us a tour bus brochure and didn’t know of any places to recommend we go. When we got back, it was a different person who was very kind. He found out the earlier woman didn’t check us in and our room was given away. we had to wait again. We had a couple of other interactions with this woman and it was the same, staring at her phone, never smiling or greeting anyone. The beds are OK and rooms are clean. We were just off the parking lot so it was a little noisy at night. The rooftop bar was closed but you could sit up there and it is nice but also overlooks busy sunset blvd. it would really improve the atmosphere if some plant barriers were up there. Housekeepers friendly, hallway carpet needs cleaning.

Slapped on new paint in an old motel. The air conditioner smells musky and moldy when on, bathroom has zero privacy as windows are frosted and door would not fully close. We requested a room on the top floor and when we checked in told there were no other rooms available other than the main floor which looked into the parking lot so you can’t open your blinds or the homeless people hanging out in the parking lot will see you. Most staff were friendly except the male working who would not even verbalize responses. Ice must be gotten from the staff as there is no machine. Parking is outrageously expensive and not safe, we ended up parking on the street for free. While technically on Sunset, it’s not close to the things one would want to do on the street and the neighborhood is a little sketchy.

Rooms: Loved the hotel's vibe - felt trendy and cool.
Walkability: Located in Hollywood about a 15 minute walk from the Walk of Fame and other popular tourist spots. There were tons of coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and a grocery store half a block away.

We has a great time here. The room was cleaned everyday. You have water and coffee all the time at the ground floor. It has parking by pay

Decent stay! Pretty spacious in the double queen room. Bed was very comfy, and loved the pillows! I slept sooo gooood! Front desk were always nice & informative. House keeping did very well leaving our suite clean & organized. If you need a microwave you’ll need to go next the front desk to warm up food. But could also be convenient when you’re on your way out though like me this morning lol
Nearby activities: Less than 4 miles from universal studios studios

For the price, not worth it. Better hotels with more amenities were available at the same price point
Rooms: Updated room, great shower, and power window shades!
Food & drinks: None available during our stay
Noteworthy details: The 2 bar/restaurants were not open at all during our stay. The rooftop is nice, could use TLC and some music.
