Walked in and couldn't figure out where to order. There was more staff there than customers, yet nobody greeted us or even acknowledged our existence. Whatever, eventually someone noticed us and took out order. The dry aged burger, fries and a grilled cheese. It took over 20 minutes for us to get our order, even thought there was practically nobody there. Can't even imagine how bad it is when there are a ton of people there, like I see when I walk my dog past this place daily.So, we finally get our food and what a disappointment it was. The fries were COLD! Who has the audacity to serve cold fries?! Especially for $5. Get home and they sure put the DRY in dry aged. The burger was closer to cold than warm, even though we live 4 blocks away and drove. It had a decent taste but was way over cooked. The grilled cheese was also closer to cold, and it wasn't barely toasted. The tomato bisque was only warm in the middle.Was hoping this would be a go to spot in the new neighborhood. But, it just turned into a HUGE disappointment.

The short, balloon-eyed man working the cash register. The business owner must replace this employee immediately. A person who is friendly with customers and understands the language of communication should be placed at the cash register. Extremely rude and not friendly towards customers. If you lose a customer, let me tell you. I came here twice and both times he treated me very badly. this is really embarrassing..

Simply the best little gourmet market in Hollywood! I just love the selection of pantry items and pastries! They have a great selection of meats & cheeses & crackers. I ordered a charcuterie board for a small get together and it was a work of art! I couldn’t believe how much food was on it. I shopped around and there’s was the best hands down! It was so pretty we almost didn’t want to eat it… almost! It was the perfect amount for our party. Thank you so much Oaks. I wasn’t even aware that they did these until I went into the store and spoke with one of their staff, Robert. He was so accommodating and friendly. They were able to make the platter the same day. I couldn’t have been more pleased! I love this place!Dietary restrictions: I was so surprised to see so many gluten free crackers and vegetarian options. Also so many yummy looking vegan options for pastries.Parking: Easy parking

This is our neighborhood go-to. Totally underrated place. The Oaks has such friendly staff every time, delicious deli products, a super selection of wines, and some of the BEST breakfast food. The veggie breakfast burrito especially is a knockout. Their salads and pizza are delicious for lunch. Just… 10/10. Keep doing what you’re doing! ?

Let's just say The Oaks Gourmet has the best veggie breakfast burrito I've ever eaten. Tater tots inside, perfectly cooked eggs, and mushrooms. I got one to go for my dinner at the Hollywood Bowl. Delicious at night! It's the service in this place where someone Robert, I believe, who knows your name or will try to memorize it day one that brought me back. He is so friendly and knowledgeable that he makes you wonder how the world gets along when he's not there.Vegetarian options: Get the breakfast burrito!

I can’t believe Ived lived down the street from here for years and I just came here for the first time recently! This place is adorable, it’s a very nice cafe/restaurant/wine store/ smoothie bar/ baked goods/ food food and just well everything else you could think of store! They even have adorable canned artisanal beers starting at $3The chicken bahn mi sandwich was delicious! The bread was amazingggAnd the workers (i think their names were brad and gabby, I apologize if i remembered wrong ?)But they were super nice, friendly, and helpful!I am absolutely in love with this place and it’s my new regular hangout, it checks all my boxes and even ones I didn’t realize I had hahaAlso it’s open till 9 pm everyday now so even better! And they serve breakfast all day!And everyday they have some sort of special food deal
