I love the Paramount. One of the best music venues I've been to. Their staff is awesome, vibes are always the best, and the music is always great. Came here a few times with friends and absolutely loved it. Also free water!!
The venue is cool over all good shows but I had an issue the last time I went here. When I ordered my drinks I tipped the bartender in cash and when I went home I realized that one of those bartenders tipped themselves $5 without my permission. Mind you I tipped cash every single time I got another drink. That's extremely greedy and pretty much fraud. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll probably never come here again for that reason alone.
Super cool old school L.A. spot. Great place to catch a band, have some drinks and chill with your friends. The Paramount has excellent sound, a nice cozy stage and a large dance floor in an historic second floor location. The staff, bartenders and security were all super cool and professional. Parking is street, might want to get there early to find a spot. I highly recommend. Happy Trails!
Cons: Saturday 10pm their parking lot was full. Everyone gets drenched in sweat. Many stairs (venue on 2nd floor, restrooms on 3rd).
Pros: Saturday the show lasted til 12:30am. Set times were posted by the restrooms. 2 smoking patios for fresh air.
great space to see, hear & feel live music!!!
Small venue, very intimate.
No tables or chairs. Had to stand for 4+ hours.
I have yet to attend the venue however I am looking forward to my visit in September even moreso, thanks to the recent experience I've had with the staff.
I was in an incredibly stressful situation with a ticketing vendor (Tixr, not the vendor this venue uses from my understanding) that left me with a $700 error to deal with. I was unable to get anywhere with the vendor, even being told their hands were tied, and essentially: sucked to be me.
So I called The Paramount frantic (in tears really) I didnt feel like anyone was going to help me and sometimes I get dramatic. 🤣
I received a call back from Jose almost immediately, he reassured me he would get me some help. Not even an hour later, I got a call from Josh who listened to my crazy story and let me vent my frustration.
Josh personally reassured me he would help me get my problem resolved, gave me his cell phone and made himself available by text or phone. It took less than 24 hours for the Paramount team to help me get my refunds and set me back on the right track.
I started out with tears of joy buying VIP tickets to see Nahko And Medicine FTP, settled on tears of frustration for hours due to a website error, and now I'm smiling big thanks to the efforts of The Paramount team.
Big Ups to these guys and we'll see you at the show!
Had an Awsome Night. Great Bar are with lots of Dancing room. The staff made us safe and welcomed. Great place for Concert Night.
Love this place so intimate , close, and all and all a great place to see a show, plus in East Los! Can't beat it.
Great little spot with surprisingly good sound.

Cool venue with great sound
Beautiful venue and very chill and respectable staff. I went there on May 31st to see a sold out live performance for my birthday. I only wish there were more bathroom stalls.
I've only been to the Paramount twice, but its an amazing little concert venue. I love it there. Can't wait to go back!
