This is the 3rd time I’ve come here and the food just always hits! The Tri-Tip is some of the best I’ve had, the chicken was juicy, the ribs were 🔥 and those flans left us fighting for the last bites! Do yourself the favor and get the mac & cheese! I will be back!

Great place for Filipino-inspired BBQ. Inside has a decent amount of seating. A couple TVs to watch a game. There's also a small front patio area. The food is delicious! Great flavors. Loved the coconut beef adobo.

Clean local Filipino BBQ restaurant known for its longevity in the local downtown Los Angeles area. This restaurant is also famous because Mr. Guy Fiery 🔥 from Diners, Dives and Drive 🚗 visited their restaurant and was featured on his famous show. Their tender BBQ chicken (inasal), tri tip and other Filipino dishes are very tasty and delicious. They have a great selection of craft beers and desserts are so yummy, the decadent flans were velvety soft.
Their price point is a bit higher than a regular asian restaurant though. Nothing fancy here, just good and tasty food with a clean ambiance. Parking is a bit of a challenge though and the neighborhood is a bit sketchy but still worth the drive and a visit.

Mama Leah's coconut beef. Was amazing. Little spicy for me but well worth it. Got Esquite which is corn was delicious. It's like a family plate so me and the wife shared and had left over to go. If your close by come try then out. Also got the Philippine beer from Philippines was good.

I am a native Memphis girl, and I am unashamed to say, this is the BEST BAR-B-QUE I have ever had! Shut it Texas with all that sugar! Nope, not even you St. Louis! What these folks have done is taken NC style BBQ and spanked it Filipeno style! And all I can say is... honey hushhhh. Make you wanna smack ya Momma, that good!
Take out = good Dine in = good Left overs in my fridge the next day = never happens... they are gone!

I got the Mama Leah's Coconut Beef, Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese and the Cornbread to go and while I waited I had the coconut ube porter. I can not overstate how absolutely delicious every single thing was. The staff were also really kind. Everyone greeted me when i came in and they are always down to give recommendations from their menu.
Definitely try the beers they have on draft! They're very well selected and a pretty wide range for the beer lover or those just testing the waters.
