The porter junction café has quickly become one of my favorite breakfast spots. The avocado toast is loaded with flavor, and their fresh juices are a great way to start the day. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is super friendly. Plus, it’s not packed like other trendy places in LA, which I really appreciate

Porter Junction Cafe is a surprising discovery with Annette and Rafael at the helm creating homemade Amazing Mexican Mochas! Their business is tucked away where they service local workers in particular. They are pleasant, interesting and interested in knowing you! It makes me wish I lived close enough to make Annette and Rafael's cafe my daily stop.
There are no transparent pricing on anything… they don’t write prices on their menus- you pay whatever they say the price is. I’ve been here a couple of times due to convenience but have been majorly overcharged for a simple coffee at more than 8 dollars. It’s more expensive than Starbucks. The taste doesn’t justify it. The place is very minimally decorated. The owners are so nice so I wanted to support but I can’t help to think I’m being unfairly charged… never gone back again would rather walk 10 minutes more for another cafe. What a shame.
Amazing service!
But, Would i come back again after spending 15$ on a basic sandwich that came with no sides or a drink? Most likely not.
Also the prices are not really listed on their wall so that just makes things kinda annoying because you don’t really know how much you’re going to be paying until they tell you the total and then you’re put in this weird position of “man, i don’t want to be rude and cancel my order”
Excellent place
Best sour dough turkey club I've had in ages. Tastes home made. Super friendly folks running the place and very clean. Nice atmosphere as well.
Just parked in the lot and was approached by a random person, possibly recording with his phone. Asked us to park in a area designated but we couldn't really understand what exactly he was trying to articulate. Asian male about 5'8 . Would have loved to enjoy a coffee with friend and family but didn't feel safe considering our interation earlier this morning.
The nicest people work here. The food tastes homemade. I usually get a sandwich with chips and either a smoothie or coffee for lunch. I am lucky enough to work nearby so I make it a priority to support this small, family business as often as I can.
Parking: If you don't find parking on the street by the entrance, you can try the lot off the alley.

Breakfast of champions! Kindest people, especially chef Annette. Love the sign on their wall: “Leave room in your garden so the angels can dance.” Thank you Angels!

They do not offer wifi.
I just left after purchasing a beverage and hoping to get a little bit of work done but was told they did not offer wifi.
Do not want to lower the rating. Just let people know about the wifi situation, which was my reason for heading over.
Very good food.
