I'm heartbroken this place has closed and I don't understand it. The prices were not the lowest but well worth it because it's so delicious. Pity....

I can't believe this place is closed for good?! Why? Where should I go for lunch now?

Just came here beautiful new Pan Asian restaurant right here heart of DTLA for my first time and was very welcomed Moa staff! This is a perfect for quick breakfast especially if you don't cook or prep food the night before. Their food selection is amazing! There is a huge buffet with a fresh of meats, salads, fruits, sushi rolls, desserts!!! Staffs are so nice and the place is super clean! This is the best Pan Asian Buffet I've been to and very reasonably priced for the exceptional quality!!! I would definitely highly recommend and will go back again tomorrow for my lunch!!

Set-up like a buffet, but charge $8.99 per lb, so NOT a buffet despite the rumor/word on the street. However, a nicely laid out location with a trendy and open feel to it. It's simple to get in, grab your grub and head to the cashier. Overall, it's a really decent value with good quality food and they've got a lot of choice variations that make it easy to return more often.

I loved this place! It is affordable and has a large variety of buffet Items(but better quality) It is quite a unique fusion of different types of foods. I would totally recommend. The only thing is that I wish it was open longer hours. Overall the quality and flavor in all the items i've tried were great. I'm usually skeptical about "buffet style" sushi places, but this one looked and tasted fresh. The place looks clean and overall service was good. Bulgo gi sliders are a must and the sushi of course.

I'm so happy to have a downtown alternative to the boring salad-bar at Whole Foods! I really love the variety of vegetables at MOA, and I hope this never changes. I only dinged a star because the staff can come across as kind of stiff and overly formal at times... but overall I think they mean well.

This review came from 3 separate visits: Right in the heart of DTLA, perfect for quick breakfast especially if you don't cook or prep food the night before. It can be pricey if you will come here everyday. Staff are nice and courteous, food is made fresh throughout the morning (I've never been here other than breakfast) with a wide selection even for the downright "heathy eater" folks (what can I say I love my bacon), clean, airy and never gets to crowded ( the place is big).

Moa Kitchen is a nice addition to DTLA restaurant scene. It is one of my new favorite lunch spots at the moment. $8.99 per lb is a steal, if you ask me. Pick your container and start filling it up with anything you want. They usually have several salad options, appetizers and sushi rolls at the first station. I like its caesar salad with chunky egg and fat bacon pieces. The second station has assorted Asian dishes. Korean dishes dominate the buffet, followed by Chinese and Japanese. You can get dduk, bulgogi, spicy pork and even Korean pancake. Some dishes are too spicy :( Pay at the cashier and seat yourself. Iced cold H2O is free at the back counter. The place is clean and the service is always friendly. I have recommended Moa to my friends and they all seem to like this place too. 4 stars!! Moa Kitchen is yummylicious!!

Walked in and was greeted quickly and so friendly. They explained how the buffet worked. The price is very reasonable. Man ol man was the food so good. Everything was fresh and such a variety. Food was DELICIOUS!!!

Food is pretty tasty for what it is. Didnt try the sushi, just went for some cooked meat and fresh fruit and veggies. Good enough selection and I like how they do the drinks

One of the newest restaurants to eat in DTLA. Located on 7th and Grand. PARKING: If you're wondering where the best place to park, park @ 725 S. Grand Ave, Los Angeles. If you're heading South on Grand you pass 7th for about 30 ft, and to your right is the parking lot. Definitely a unique place -- considering DTLA gets old very quick within a certain radius during work hours, for those lunch breaks. MOA is a great addition to downtown LA as their food is constantly changing. I like to look at MOA similar to a "buffet" although it isn't a "buffet". What I mean by this is all food is hot/ready for self serve, and they change their items up daily, so it isn't boring and plenty of options from healthy lettuce wraps, salmon, salads, to the more heavy chow mein, orange chicken type food. Options available for days, soups, meats, sushi, salads, etc. I've had their tuna, chicken salads, salmon, beef broccoli, chow mein, fountain drinks, spicy korean chicken. All of which was tasty/satisfying. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Excellent! Staff pick up after you, as they notice dishes are empty, they ensure everything is good/to your standards, they greet you well, pure positive attitude. PRICING: ~$8.99/lb Worth giving it a shot!

Not bad at all for a breakfast buffet spot! Crispy bacon, crunchy egg toast, and warm apple cinnamon crepes is what I got along with Stumptown coffee refills :) Justin personally brought out the apple cinnamon crepes for me when they ran out and throughout my dining all the workers (including the cooks) asked if everything was okay or if I needed anything. Thanks MOA for a good start to my day!

MOA Kitchen opened very recently and uses the per pound pricing model. It is $8.99/lb and they do have some items that I haven't seen elsewhere such as the sushi and bulgogi. However, just about everything here isn't worth its price in weight. The sushi is sub-par and wouldn't sell well in a regular restaurant. The pictures show 8+ types but when I came and tried a couple, each of them was some variation of a California roll with spicy tuna out of a tube. A California roll is usually sold at a discount to its weight, or at least it should. The rest of the items were a little too bland to be considered worth it. The meatloaf was generous with the sauce but now that you consider the sauce as part of the weight, I would have rather had a good meatloaf without sauce than pay the extra 50 cents to make it edible. The orange chicken was forgettable. The various kinds of fried rice could really use some salt and pepper and no, dousing it in soy sauce doesn't really help the bad cook quality. I think if they got some premium items, not the fake premium sushi, or lowered the price to $5.99/$6.99, then maybe I would come back here again. I am giving this place an extra star because the food was swallowable and that's more than I would expect at this kind of place and cheaper buffets.
