LOVE THIS PLACE!! Can’t recommend it enough, I live about 40 minutes away but anytime im even 20 minutes nearby I’ll come here any day. The atmosphere is unmatched, the most cozy nook in the wall ramen place I know of.

Overall, good, but not my favorite. It’s entirely personal, but I prefer more depth and savory ramen. The broth and seasoned egg had a hint of sweetness that I wasn’t crazy about. It reminded me of the sweetness that sake-marinated chicken has. The chashu was okay, not a lot of flavor aside from the broth on it, but it was tender and melted. The noodles themselves were good. We also tried the spicy tuna crispy rice appetizer, which was really good. Spicy, but worth it. Service was a bit spotty. We were seated, and eventually someone came by and said she’d be right with us, and then disappeared for about 10 minutes. We ended up putting in our with someone else. It was a rainy day, so the place was busy inside.

Food is excellent, we tried different things and not one was disappointing. Best ramen I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend. Will be back and I don’t live in LA. Fast and efficient service.

Ramen was really tasty here, plentiful portion with flavorful soup. Service was quick, which was good since we were short on time. Prices were very reasonable for being in LA. Make sure you check out their specials board, definitely some unique menu items on there.

Recommended dishes: Shoyu Tonkotsu Ramen with Soft Boiled Egg

I came here around 3 p.m. and the place wasn’t busy. The hostess was chatting with the cooks and completely ignored me. I had to ask where I should sit since it was my first time there. The menu was also confusing, it listed “shoyu tonkotsu ramen,” but I don’t like soy sauce flavor and was only interested in tonkotsu, the pork bone broth. At most ramen spots, shoyu and tonkotsu are separate options.

When I explained to the waitress (who was also the hostess) that I wanted the creamy pork bone broth without soy sauce, she kept telling me to “read the menu,” which felt dismissive and insulting. I’ve had plenty of ramen before this wasn’t my first time.

When the ramen finally came, the broth was overly salty and the noodles were soggy. Honestly, don’t waste your money here. The service was rude and the food wasn’t worth it. There are far better ramen places out there like Nagi in Century City and Jidaiya in Gardena.

Definitely a more authentic feeling Ramen location that takes you as across the sea as if you were eating in Japan.

Service was very quick and friendly.

Ordered the Shoyu Tonkotsu, the Ramen was very Rich, creamy and had very wonderful flavouring.

The noodles were the biggest let down as they were clumped together and made it harder to enjoy bowl.

The Meat was nicely crisp and tender but was definitely on the smaller side.

The Other Garnish was alright but added flavour and texture to the bowl.

Overall, if you’re in the area I would recommend giving it a try. Definitely worth trying the other items on the menu to enhance your experience.

The biggest let down would be the sizing of the pork chasu and the noodles.
