I really enjoyed this place. I was looking for a spot to work on my wedding planning and a lot of cafes were closed (since it was 4pm) and had this place pinned. Parking is.... Minimal. It was quite full for an early Tuesday. The wine bar is fantastic. Menu is cute, happy hour has fun selections and the music was top notch.

Came during Happy Hour. Will definitely be coming back. The prices were great given the quality and quantity of the food.

I came at 3:30 on a Friday and met someone there. That must be when the shift changes, because we ordered food and drinks, and then watched the bartender just completely check out. So much so they pulled cash out of the registered and fanned themselves with it. Two other employees came on shift, and neither seemed particularly interested in working or acknowledging our presence. In fact, the old bartender and the new bartender leaned on the back of the wall with their arms crossed just talking. NO ONE checked on us for OVER AN HOUR. I desperately wanted more ketchup, but nope, no one even paid attention. We finished our drinks and would have gone a second round or even third, but nope, the conversation was more important. And wherever the second bartender disappeared to, she was never to be seen again then entire time we were there. I didn’t even finish my fries because they got cold during the HOUR I waited for a bartender to acknowledge my presence for some damn ketchup because the fries were covered in so much salt they were inedible without the ketchup. When we finally flagged down a bartender (again, after AN HOUR), she literally gave us a “uhuh” look and kept chatting with the old bartender for another FIFTEEN MINUTES before she came around to check on us, and when we asked for the check (because she never bothered to ask if we wanted more of anything or notice our drinks and waters were totally gone and our food was cold, only respond with a curt “you ok?”) was quick to circle the part of the check for the highest tip amount. On top of that, they charge a “security fee” - like lol what? There weren’t any security guards and there’s no explanation whatsoever of what is purportedly being “secured.” Bar is clearly playing off the novelty of being a lesbian bar and ignoring and overcharging their patrons. The food, besides getting cold because I couldn’t get condiments, was awful. The “vegan” food tasted like rubber and the fries, as I mentioned, were so salty they couldn’t be consumed on their own.

LA has a sapphic space, natural wine, and great food. We needed it!

The Ruby Fruit is a place where I feel like I can breathe and truly relax. The wine here is delicious and the bartenders could not be nicer or more welcoming! Truly a rare space for this community and worth a visit if you're from out of town!

I'm new to the area it was excited to investigate a new lesbian business. I was very disappointed in the value per dollar. $16 for a cheap wine that came in a juice glass. Seats are not comfortable for conversation. The wine is not great, the food is average and the seating is not comfortable. What is the draw?

Stylish, trendy spot to get a drink or food with minimal wait time; large, clean bathroom; parking lot + easy street parking

i came here for lunch by myself while visiting LA and the atmosphere was inviting and lovely. I had the brunch salad with avocado and it was 10/10! Also the bathroom is practically more of an indigo girls shrine than a bathroom (i mean that as a compliment of the highest form) Not only was the food and staff wonderful but the general atmosphere felt like such a safe space. <3
