I walked in for an early dinner and brew. Ordered a Mayberry IPA and a Fish and Chips. The total was around $30. I whipped out a fifty dollar bill and was told by the two bartenders that their system doesn't allow cash. I offered to leave the remaining balance as tip. They refused me service and I was turned away hungry and thirsty. They were nice about it but imagine waking up one day and your physical money is no good. Nice British style pub vibes with a laid-back sports bar feel. Street parking is usually ok —either free or metered depending on the time.
They’ve got a decent happy hour menu with good prices, and service is friendly. However, on our last visit, it took about an hour to get our food (just a couple of burgers and a salad). Hopefully just a one-off.

The atmosphere and service remain great, but the food has gotten significantly worse over the last couple years. This used to be my favorite spot for a burger and a beer. I'm afraid I can now only return on a full stomach. Stop messing with the menu and with the ingredients on long standing items.
