Great place to chill in a more relaxed and quiet environment behind the Arts District. Bartender knows his stuff

Pacific standard was great, awesome service and staff. The perfect place to celebrate my birthday.
Great drinks, fun atmosphere, bartender was chill and quick with orders. A nice break from the buzz of the brewery out front. Will return!

If you haven't seen this bar which is tucked away in the back of the Brewery, I challenge you all to look deeper. The Study caters to all walks of life and welcomes weekend wanderer to enter and have a drink. Whether you choose a cocktail, beer, neat spirit, I truly believe there is something for everyone. One and only bartender Michael is top notch. His drinks are well balanced and he has the patience of a saint and the kindness to find the right drink for anyone intimidated by a menu or ingredients. So bring a date, come alone, meet new people. Check out the Study! It's calling your name.

We popped in here after going to Death & Co. We were on a quest for another speakeasy. It was hidden at the back of a popular brewery and felt like a library but there was only one girl sitting at the bar. It was kind of cold inside and we didn't really feel like hanging out for long. I got a cosmo which was pretty good. My husband had something the bartender recommended and he's super picky so he didn't love it. We all just stood near the bar drinking our drinks and chatting and then moved up front to play skeeball and take photo booth photos.

I came in to escape the heat for a quick pint and stayed a couple of hours! The Dungeon Crawler Saison and the Rainbow Road citra IPA were both excellent while I wasn't so keen on the Hermano hefe. Good food too. Very friendly service and great atmosphere for lunchtime.
Get the Nachos and start a tab.
I loved this place. It’s amazing
The vibe is relaxed and almost like a cigar lounge. The drinks were decent. What I didn’t like here was the bias the bartender had especially towards females that were extra friendly towards him. Free drinks for phone number and free drinks for random reasons but not to us he automatically included 20% gratuity for a bill that was over 100 without telling us first. I’m not against tipping and would of tipped more than 20% since I’ve worked in the industry but definitely felt like he took out the free drinks he just gave multiple people on us. Treat everyone the same that’s all.
Speak easy vibe, love the decor, and the drinks were great. Will come back more often.

Laid back offshoot to the brewery. Good bourbon selection. Check it out if you're in the arts district!
Comedy club level service but god speed to her. The bartender was slammed but held everything together and got us our drinks. Awesome! The food was pretty good too! I recommend getting the chicken katsu sando.
Good food, great drinks and awesome games to bide your time
We enjoyed the Brewery in recent years when we visited Los Angeles. But not this time. Never understood why some owners think people go to bars/breweries to hear blasting music early in the evening. Blasting music may work late in the evening after people had more than a few drinks, but at 6:30 pm? The beer, as in the past, was very good, but now the wine comes in cans. They used to have very good wine in bottles. If you want to have a conversation with people you may want to another brewery/bar or try the Arts District’s outdoor space. We had one quick drink and left.
Great drinks and food!
