I came out for an outing with my dogs and stopped by this café for a simple breakfast. I didn’t expect much, but the avocado sandwich was incredibly delicious. I’ll definitely come back again!

Really cute coffee shop at the trail head of Griffith observatory before a nice hike up to the top. Great Americano and a variety of pastries too.

rude people but delicious food and such a vibey location!
This is one of the best little coffee shops in los angeles in my opinion. The vibes here are immaculate. You're surrounded by nature. They have a fantastic breakfast menu, including a thing called an egg in a basket which is my favorite.

I’ve been coming for the last couple of years and the drinks are good , I have gotten the egg in a basket on 2 separate times and it tasted like dish soap. I got the quiche one time and it also tasted like dish soap. As anything that is probably baked with silicone will taste like soap. And it’s always at the bottom to where I can’t even say I want a refund because it’s almost eaten.

I visited Griffith Park on a Saturday morning and after hiking up/down the trails to the Observatory, I was hungry. There was a line when I walked over to this food shack/hut and I quickly got in line. It was slow moving and I had a nice chat with the couple behind me in line while we slowly inched up the steps. I got the avocado sandwich, a cheddar biscuit and a lavender shortbread cookie. The sandwich was REALLY good, with lots of avocado, tomato and sprouts on it. Even the fake bacon bits made the sandwich better, by adding crunch and saltiness. The lavender shortbread was buttery and salty with just a touch of lavender in it, which ensured it didn’t taste like soap. I saved the biscuit for later and it was very good, but I recommend having it warmed up (I didn’t have that option). Highly recommend this place.
Great food and drink options. I wish they did smoothies though!
