Fun place with a lounge vibe. Bartenders were terrific and helpful but some of the other staff seemed distracted and indifferent

Their Thanksgiving food was not only horrible but the assistant manager was unpleasant and treated my friend differently than he treated other guests when she asked for turkey. He served my friend like she didn't belong there. Racism??? Wouldn't go back.

Tonight myself and two young adult sons came to The Tuck Room for the first time for the Thanksgiving buffet. I was really looking forward to the experience. I'm sorry to say but the food was not good at all as it did not taste like normal Thanksgiving dishes at all. The turkey and mashed potatoes were good but that was about it. The stuffing was soggy and greasy and had zero flavor, the cornbread was mushy, the "cranberry sauce" did not taste like cranberry sauce (it was awful), and the truffle mac & cheese was dry and hard. I would have to say that this restaurant should stick with whatever food they specialize in on a daily basis and NOT on Holiday food as they failed miserably. It was not enjoyable at all. Wasted $195.

The guy that was carving the turkey at the carving station was not nice at all. I noticed he was pleasant and smiled at other guests that approached the carving station, but that did not happen with me even when I tried talking to him. He was very straight faced with me. I asked for turkey with skin on it and he only gave me turkey. I asked for the skin again and he ripped a piece and sat it on top of my turkey slice!! Like WHAT!??? It looked like slop how he did that!! All he had to do was slice the turkey from the top of the bird that had skin attached and happily served me that...problem solved. I returned for a second slice of turkey later and something was off about him. He seemed almost hesitant to serve me another slice. I began to think there were some type of limit on the turkey although it was a buffet. He proceeded to give me a slice of white meat and when I asked for skin again, he stopped, put his arms down and silently sighed with his body language and began to give me skin with dark meat when I specifically asked for white meat! I reminded him that I do not want dark meat. He then ripped a few pieces of skin from around the turkey and again plopped it on top of my turkey slice. That was NOT OKAY and gross. It did NOT look appetizing. I walked away and did not eat it.

For $65 per person and it being a buffet, if I wanted two slices of turkey with skin, then GIVE ME WHAT I ASKED FOR!!!! I asked my waiter to speak with the manager and guess what??? The turkey guy was the assistant manager! Acting like that!!?? So I asked who was over him! I am a military veteran and have been taught to use my chain of command. Everybody has someone over them. I had enough of that treatment he repeatedly gave me and asked for his manager. She was pleasant and I spoke with her.

I will not return to this restaurant for holiday food or just in general for that matter.

By the way, Kyle our server was really nice, super friendly, professional and polite. That is the only positive I took away from tonight.

The food and drink were delicious and well crafted, the service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was excellent! Parking is just next to the theater and restaurant and is just $3.50 with validation. Attached is their passionfruit dessert. It was the perfect birthday treat.

The vibe is modern speakeasy. Irreverent art, chandeliers, low light… it creates the mood for connection. The tables are full as it’s clearly a popular date spot - couples shyly sharing their stories over well made cocktails. The food is solid. Faces are full of smiles, the specials such as lobster Mac n cheese are served piping hot. The airline chicken was moist and the accompanying mustard sauce was on point both in quantity and taste. Salmon was cooked to order and the flavor
Combinations were fresh and flavorful. We will be back.

I recently dined at Tuck Room Tavern, and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. When we called to make a reservation, the voicemail instructed us to leave a message and promised a callback for confirmation. Surprise, surprise—they never called back. When we finally arrived and spoke to the manager, he was completely aloof and didn’t even bother to apologize for their lack of response.

The real nightmare began when Lucas, our server, took over. Rude doesn’t even begin to cover it. We asked for our fries to be crispy—how hard is that? Apparently, it was too much for Lucas, as they came out cold and soggy. The steak was a salt lick, and when we mentioned it to Lucas, he couldn’t have cared less. We had to ask multiple times for the fries to be remade hot and crispy. By the time they finally returned, we were practically done with our meal. Fries for dessert? No thanks.

Lucas’s attitude was the cherry on top of this awful experience. He was inattentive, dismissive, and downright rude. The lack of basic customer service skills was astonishing.

Overall, Tuck Room Tavern was a complete letdown. The food was subpar, the service was horrendous, and the management clearly doesn’t care about their customers. Save your money and your sanity—dine elsewhere.
