The food is good and the people who work here are nice. But this is possibly the slowest restaurant on the planet. With busy faculty etc it’s a tough place to count on when you need a grab and go lunch.

Restaurant is closed for indoor dining during covid but I still remember going a few times during my college years and after. Who knew that csula had a restaurant here? The restaurant for me is mixed. What I love is you can order the wine. In fact my first time trying wine was here. I recommend the Pinot Grigio. When ordering, order the special. It's inexpensive and it varies each day. The best special I've had was a tinga tostada. You get served water and sometimes bread with butter. The restaurant is well kept and looks middle class. The waiters' uniform were nice. I still fondly remember the cute waitress in my freshmen year. Now for the bad, if you're ordering something particular it might be expensive but it's what you pay to dine in a restaurant that looks well kept and middle class right? I don't recommend the pizza. Really bad. Waste of money. However, the fish and chips were good.

To say I really like this place is a understatement. They have the best sweet potato fries on campus. The Cheese pizza was really delicious, and you can get a good price on the salads and pastrami. You get a free side of toppings, and a good delicious cookie. This is a good place to stop by for lunch, if you have a bit more money to spend or looking to take your parents out to a quiet place on campus.

I've always known about this place but never went in until today. I was feeling under the weather and this was one of the few places on campus great served soup. I ordered tomato soup and chicken soup for to go & it was great! I loved the tomato soup especially because it was so creamy and flavorful. I don't know why more students don't come here but now I sure will!

Overpriced. I came here Bc I needed something small for lunch yet healthy. So decided on the half sandwich and soup. They charge $10 for this meal, when you can get the whole sandwich with a side for $12. (Eye roll). The half meal honestly is not with $10 (but I guess that my punishment for having a healthier diet, pay more for less), and it should really cost more like $7 to $8. The food was good, so I’ll give them two stars instead of one. But I don’t recommending coming here unless you have money to waste, or as I overheard some faculty, “needing to escape from students”.

The place offers a nice range of fresh food. I like eating here. Staff members are always helpful, pricing is affordable and the place is always well organised.

Real good food and excellent service. Nice atmosphere in elegant setting. Pricier than the average university fare, but it is not an average locale. Only caveat, short hours, weekdays only opens 3 hours and closes at 2 pm.

This is the best place on campus to watch the World Cup. Students can eat here, and it's well worth it.

american food at this spot - yummy. Looking forward to coming back with my coworkers. Prices were fair for the quality of the food.

This place might be the best to eat on campus (when is open). Most of the food on campus are over priced and taste like trash. For a few dollars more you can get a real food at this place.

Beautiful views, no service and insulting from time to time atmosphere from staff and members under influence - .. you can spent time to describe details but it is not about that but t about culture of the place... it is changing and not for better in my opinion looking over years ... intellectually, service and manner wise.. it is becoming less attractive.. I invited a lot of people for all over the world to dine there- they appreciated views but not a service or quality of food and manners of staff- staff embarrassed themselves on many occasions just because they do not know better... a lot of room for improvement..

I appreciate this businesses pressence, but they suffer from habitual IT issues. Today, my order was never placed because the wifi was not working. It took the waitress 40 minutes to confirm this, only after we asked her to check out our orders progress. If they get their ordering schematics tightened up this place would be much much more enjoyable.
