Nice place if you want to do karaoke. Went with friends recently and the room had a lot of space and good service. You can also just go to the restaurant and bar. As a group we tried a few things: ribs, charcuterie, tofu nuggets, and calamari. All were pretty good, but the calamari was mostly onions. They validate parking at the garage behind the building if you spend $30, which is nice.

Not a moment wasted waiting to be seated and served at this fantastic establishment. The impeccable server tended to our every need with great care. The steak, cooked to perfection, was an absolute delight. A visually stunning restaurant that I am eager to frequent.

Weird staff! Maybe that’s why it’s empty on Saturday

The food was good, the room was set up Real nice and the service was on point! HOWEVER the music selections or shall I say the availability of music is something to be desired. They need a selection that covers all genres. Not all Black Folks want rap. We like R&B OLD & NEW. ROCK. MODERN JAZZ. Let's do better people. ESPECIALLY for the money that is paid out for the Food and Beverage. A good time was had by all. Although, like I said the music selection was subpar I'd come again. Hopefully they'll have some 2023 R&B, new age sol or something along that line if/when we do return.

Christine & Jenni are the best servers ever!!!! Always bring a fun & entertaining vibe. The AYCE is unbeatable, the toro and salmon belly are to die for, and can't forget the baby scallops! #Dancingeel

First impressions are everything! I had a reservation here from 6 pm to 9 pm. I showed up for my reservation and was greeted by security at the door. When I say greeted, I mean he stop his head out of the door and said, "Id's". No hello, how are you, good evening, welcome to The Venue. Mind you I'm 41 and was at the door with my 64 year old mother. Both our hands were full because he had a cake gifts etc. it was shocking that he was hounding us for an ID when guests are allowed under the age of 21 up until 10 pm. As we proceeded down the stairs he got on his walkie talkie(or phone) and said they have a cake. As if we were going to try and hide that big ass cake. It was very insulting. The food and drinks were good, but a little pricey. The music selection was not good. We ended up booking our phones up and playing music that way. Overall, I would not recommend. It appears that they want to cater to a specific type of crowd.

My partner and I stopped by for the Valentine’s Day dinner, and the food was extremely below average and overpriced. We were limited to the Valentine’s Day menu, which we expected for the holiday, but the food options were disappointing and simply not good. I would suggest stopping by The Venue for their karaoke but not for their food.

If I could rate this place 0 starts I would. This pertains to the service not the food. The food is actually pretty good. My husband has celebrated two holiday dinners for his company at this place. The first experience wasn't as bad. Therefore, he decided to celebrate it there again. The second experience was really horrible. First, the Karaoke use to have YouTube and that option was taken away. Which the current selection of music is very limited. Secondly, the staff was extremely rude to all the people whom we invited. They made them feel very uncomfortable and not welcomed. One of the staff seemed like they wanted to even fight one of the elderly person we invited which was scary. They also wanted to sell their bottle service a 40% higher than what was stated in the menu. When confronted about the price to the manager with the menu in hand and the price that was stated. He just said that the system was giving another price and he couldn't do nothing about it. However, in a separate payment we had already given the price was the same as the one stated in the menu. Everything seemed very shady and not professional. Also, I read all the similar reviews as mine and if you pay attention to the response from that manager I'm speaking about you can see how he is passive aggressive. In every response he ends up blaming you. ( That's how you know there is a problem) Unprofessional!

I had a terrible experience at the venue the employees was very racist to the ones that aren’t their own kind and we felt as if we were rushed.. ex the guy James came in the room while we were sorting out the bill and he proceeds to say “ well where’s the check” in a very rude matter. There was another employee by the name of tung or Chung he was also very rude this isn’t how you treat people of color or anybody.. the venue needs to work on their customer service skills. 5/10

LITERALLY one of my fav cocktail bars in LA. It's so underrated, idk how it's not getting the attention it deserves. ALL their cocktails are good, and they have a lot of good finger foods you can also order. I came here on Saturday and I had the BEST service from James??? If you're reading this, thanks for being so great. He chat with us here and there and was really funny. Also the karaoke machines are so nice LOL I take that part very seriously

Decent food, good service, fun to have our own party room. Didn't love the very, very, very expensive, extremely marked up bottle service (Casa Amigos tequila bottle without a top on it, didn't taste like Casa Amigos and was $415/bottle). When we remarked on the price, our server said "you guys are from Brentwood right?" We immediately felt taken advantage of. With every other room empty that night at least we can be comforted knowing we kept a business from shutting down.

Didn't go for karaoke, but we had a lovely dinner on a Monday night for my brother's birthday, and we basically had the whole place to ourselves! We were a party of 10 and shared a whole bunch of appetizers and entrees which were all tasty (def recommend their tuna tacos). The hostess and servers were super accommodating with dietary preferences and excellent service overall. They also validate parking in the Central Plaza lot if you spend over $30 which was nice in busy ktown. Highly recommend going on a weeknight if you want a quiet private ambiance!
