Two stars may be more generous than this place deserves especially after this evening. I've been coming to the whisper Lounge for the past few years sporadically, I work in the area now and while I would like to frequent it more often they keep changing their menu and raising their prices. Even with the price increase, I still patronize them because it's convenient, and I like the atmosphere. I even had celebratory cocktails here after I picked my wedding dress a few months ago. This place held nice memories. The bar service has been on a decline, and tonight it went from not so great to flat out rude. I was in with coworkers, we surrounded the bar, the bartender was rude from the moment we arrived, practically yelling at us while deciding what we wanted. We ordered and it took a while to get our drinks. After the bartender collected himself, he asked us if we were all paying together or separate with said separate if we could please and he said something to the effect of, " f*** that's going to be a pain in the a*** he continued to slam dishes, a server at one point was kind enough to wipe up his mess that splashed us. I'm very disappointed in the service more so that he used an expletive, I've actually never witnessed that in a server before, I think we were in such shock we actually thought he might be joking but he was completely serious. I've never seen this guy, he was angry and nasty--i saw him pour out a glass of old wine and fill it with new wine for a seated customer, it was a DIRTY GLASS. I'm disgusted and disappointed. Do better Whisper.

Uziel was my bartender. Very knowledgeable on their drinks and their spirits. Told him what I like and dislike about drinks. He offered to make me some custom drinks which were amazing. Very personable and professional human being.

I'm surprised this is one of the better places at the Grove. They told us the soup was "tomato and fennel" and what arrived was clearly not that soup. It was potato and kale and not one bit of tomato and fennel. We thought they made a mistake and inquired but the waitress insisted that was the soup specified. It wasn't. Heard the burger was decent so ordered that. The bun was so stale it was inedible. The calamari was passable and the filet skewers tasted old. Our hibiscus margaritas were good. Not worth the $120+ for a party of three who ate appetizers.

Overpriced mediocrity. View of a parking deck, food was awful, and prices are through the roof. They validated my parking ticket though or I would have demanded my money back. Truly awful experience. Avoid eating here at all cost.

We had the truffle fries, mushroom flat bread and the beet salad. The beet salad is big enough for two people. Fries and flatbread were delicious. Enjoyed sitting on the patio people watching.

Nice happy hour! The food was good, the ambiance was nice and despite being busy, I was able to have a discussion with my friends that I met for happy hour. They were short staffed and they still provided great service

Went for happy hour and service was dismal, server barely spoke, no smiles, no recommendations even when asking the server. The filet mignon skewers and Brussels Sprouts were good, but the lemon pepper chicken wings were only ok. Will not go back.

This is very nice restaurant in the grove. The outdoor seating is very nice and it's next to a candy shop and Barney's. The skewers were perfectly cooked and the tacos were full an flavorful. The calamari was crispy and well seasoned.

Came here on a Wednesday with a friend at 5pm. Happy hour was still going on for another hour so we had the 13 dollar taco flight (4 tacos) and the tuna albacore. We got half chicken al pastor and half short rib for the meat choices and they were both so good and juicy. The tuna albacore was fresh and came with 2 sweetened chips. I felt like the chips were too sweet for my liking, especially because the albacore was so flavorful but it was still okay- the main is the fish anyways. We also had the asian pear and winter squash salad that was refreshing and light. I recommend all 3 things that we got. At the end, we were surprised with a free dessert (cookie cheesecake) from the server because my friend had let them know I was recently engaged. So the service and attentiveness was obviously amazing!

I eat at this restaurant often because I like everything about this place but there is a new waiter which I admire, Uzziel. If you are lucky enough to be seated where he serves, you will be assured a very pleasant meal. He is polite, professional, and will make you a very artistic espresso. Thank you Uzziel, you are a very good asset to the restaurant. Tonight I asked if the chef could make a vegetarian dish. He made the most amazing pene pasta with mushrooms, red and green peppers, green and black olives and the sauce was magnifique. Thank You.

The food here was really yummy but the desserts were to DIE FOR. I don't even like panna cotta, but it was insane. The best part was Uzzy, our server. Best server in LA. So sweet and cute and on top of it. Brought us everything we needed and stuff we never knew we needed
