They have a good variety and well prices happy hour which was what lured us in. Large bar and plenty of tables and booths as well Metered parking out front. Unfortunately they were understaffed and the poor bartender had to tend to all the tables as well but still got our drinks to us instantly and food shortly thereafter. We tried most of their tacos and I was hoping the puffy tacos to be better, more puffy, not really worth the up charge. Everything was pretty salty and the cocktails horrible, the beer flat and not cold. Chips were stale, great prices and sounding menu, just the execution could have been better.

Good nachos and fun place to watch a game (if you can get a table)

Great drinks and vibes. Had my birthday party here with about 30 ppl and the bartenders were wonderful. Shoutout to Colin for making sure my party had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend for a fun night out.

I came here with a friend for Taco Tuesday and let me tell you, thunderbird did not disappoint! This was the first time a friend and I had seen each other in about a year so this was a much needed hangout. My friend recommended thunderbird as she lives fairly close and I was more than satisfied. On taco tuesday you are able to mix and match tacos rather than have to order a set of 3 and it was so nice to be able to try different varieties. We both ordered the sweet potato, shrimp al pastor and short rib tacos. All were great, but if I went back I would order just the sweet potato taco! It was surprisingly delicious and just overall very satisfying. When I go back I plan on getting two sweet potato tacos- one puffy and one regular! We also got an order of fries to share and it was more than enough food for the both of us. I would say that the fries are a must-have item! The fries were perfectly cooked and the sauces were just the icing on the cake. I am not going to lie, I ordered the fries purely based off of the fact that they came with curry ketchup, but I was definitely blown away. Can't wait to come back!

I’m not a Trivia connoisseur, but their Wednesday Trivia host is imo amazing. Bar has a bit of a college-kid-vibe to it. Maybe that’s just Sawtelle bars though.

A+ happy hour bites and drinks. The pulled pork nachos are a perfect dish to share with friends, and you can't beat a five-dollar plate of perfect fries with aioli, ketchup, and curry ketchup. I was a little hesitant about trying their tacos, but they are flavorful and surprisingly substantial (the al pastor shrimp and short rib ones are the best). Yes, it's $5 a taco, and yes, they use little flour tortillas, but they are tasty in their own Tex-mexy way and do not skimp with the filling. Parking can be rough during this time, but if you are a parallel parking champ/are okay with coming out to top up your meter, you're golden.

This is a nice bar with friendly staff. We live in the area and come here often. During the warmer weather, we enjoy sitting outside, as long as smokers aren't in close proximity. The food is good, but we really wish they would bring back more vegetarian or fish options. This includes mushroom tacos, broccoli tacos, sweet potato tacos, etc. With these off the menu recently, we don't eat here as often.

Always a great time at Thunderbird. They have a great happy hour from 4-6! The nachos, tacos and chicken tenders are all great. The queso was also some of my favorite but sadly isn't on the menu anymore. Overall great neighborhood bar but gets very crowded later in the afternoon or if there's a game on so come early if you want a table!

First time here, friend wanted to meet here because of the happy hour. It's Friday, so LFG!! Our server Remisi was so kind and welcoming. Exchange pleasantries and took our order. Our drinks were on point, our cocktails had just the right amount of ethyl to keep the BAC at the right levels to cleanse the soul from the culminating dread of the current work week that we had endure. The atmosphere matched the vibes from the patrons; perhaps we're all here for the he reason. Would definitely come here again.

Favorite place to watch all the games, a lot of TVs to choose from. Gets busy on game days but bartenders do a good job to keep it moving.

My go-to bar before I started working from home (office was across the street). Still make the drive there sometimes. Always good vibes, great bartenders, good food and everything is reasonably priced - they also offer happy hour and taco Tuesday deals. Perfect for when games are playing - they have several TVs covering big games.

Pretty good for happy hour. Prices aren't bad for being smack in the middle of Wilshire in West LA. And the food is good, too!
