Toy Thai on Sunset Blvd is one of those Hollywood gems that wears its vibe on its sleeve—loud, a little gritty, unapologetically fun. The rock-and-roll playlist is always on point, setting the tone from the moment you walk in. It’s got that dive-y charm: dark corners, neon glows, and a well-worn look that says, “we’ve seen some things.” Could it use a facelift? Probably. But it also might lose some of its soul if it ever got one.

I've been going to since it very first opened. Late 80s early 90s, I can't remember the exact year, but Toi on Sunset is one of my most very favorite places to be in the whole world.

Absolutely incredible spot! 10/10 for me! Some of the best vegetarian curry I’ve ever had. And the vibes.. soo cool! Like stepping into a rock and roll time capsule in the best way. Owner was super cool too- you can tell that the whole place is a giant labor of love! The world needs more places like this. Thanks so much for the experience!! 🙏🙏
