Tomat Reviews
Tonight we, my husband and I, with our dear friends, the Crays, dined at Tomat for the first of what will be many times.
The restaurant features a dining room and a roof top patio. A welcoming, comfortable space.

I have been in for both coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. I was very pleased both times. The food was unique, interesting and tasty and the service was outstanding. The decor is also very cool. I especially enjoyed the Barbari bread, the cod and the flat white coffee. I am looking forward to visiting again very soon.

Tomat is a hidden gem unexpectedly located near LAX, offering a quality meal during a layover or a special dining experience. The restaurant features a welcoming dining room and a rooftop patio that provides a peaceful escape from the airport buzz. The food is excellent, made with top-tier produce sourced from their own farm, ensuring fresh flavors in every dish. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, dedicated to creating a great dining experience. Guests have enjoyed a variety of dishes, including the amazing tuna carpaccio, house-milled saffron rice, and perfectly cooked trout and chips, which many have called the best they have ever had. The combination of flavors and textures is outstanding, with options available for vegan and vegetarian diets. Desserts like warm madeleines and saffron ice cream add to the delightful experience. Tomat is a highly recommended spot for a delicious meal that is worth seeking out, even for those staying in LA for just a few days.
