Typical fast food. The humbugers are ok. The fries are either served fried well or not fried enough. The prices are high, just like most things now. The food is convenient and fast, especially when time matters. The employees are very cordial if you are looking for a place to go where you are treated fairly well.
Tom's Burgers is a bucket list for those who have not tried this neighborhood gem and staple of East L.A. restaurants. I grew up blocks from here on Eastman Ave. and still live in the area and I remember the old crew who worked there. Tonio is the only remaining cook from that old crew and he still remembers me being taken their as a baby. He knew my whole family cause we all grew up on Tom's Burgers.
