Idk about why there are so many low star ratings because my experience was great! Food was exactly the same as 휴게소 돈까스 in korea, brought me some nostalgic feelings and service was good too. I would definitely come back with friends and families!!

most convenient quick bites, always reliable. Love the place, been going here for a long time. The food court is almost always busy but Tonkatsu House is always quick with their orders. Since they are so busy we can assume they have a setup that is quite efficient in getting orders out quickly. If your not trying to wait 15-20+ minutes for lunch then i recommend

⭐☆☆☆☆
Came here for the famous King Tonkatsu.
Price went up a bit.
I thought, cool, quality and portions should still be there.
Oh boy… I was wrong.
Everything shrunk.
Especially the tonkatsu.

The meat was paper thin.
All I tasted was breading.
Barely any pork flavor at all.

Soup came out cold.
Not warm. Cold.

Dinner vibes completely gone.
Very disappointing.

Honestly, the spot across H Mart has way thicker tonkatsu than this.
Sad to say, but this one’s a pass.

Firstly, service is absolutely horrendous!!!!
Having dining here since I was a young child, this was extremely disappointing that service and quality has gone downhill, as others mentioned.

I had this loyalty card, granted its an older card & they refused to honor/provide any stamps.
There are NO terms and conditions on this & I am certain there are legal parameters surrounding this.

As a native Korean speaker, they were very condensing in their tone, despite speaking the same language.

The portions have gone down significantly and I still feel hungry after eating here.

Prices have gone up and keeps rising!!!

Do NOT be fooled by the illusion of the large fried pork slice. It is thinly sliced, so you are NOT getting much value.

I also asked for extra napkins, after being included a single napkin. However, they very hesitantly gave me a whopping 4 more napkins, after I strongly asked! Very stingy and absent customer care!

I still gave their food a chance, for sake of nostalgia, but bad decision on my part! Hopefully, they enjoyed my LAST payment!

Will NOT return anymore!

Very rude customer service, which tainted the whole meal. I got the number 16 which came with more food than i expected which was lovely, and the chicken was crispy and delicious. The sauce they use is less of a curry and more of a demi glace.

Regardless, i had to take it home because there was so much. That’s when i went up to get a to go box and i brought my tray up and the guy kept yelling at me to put my tray back and then yelled at me that i had to pay for a to go box.

I had 0 cash as most people do and he said they can’t take card so i was stuck since i couldn’t take my food home. He then said they can take card if i pay an extra fee. I wanted to take my food home so i paid and he was extremely rude about it all. The cashier was the only kind one.

0/10 customer service.

The food is decent for the price, but something the establishment no longer seems to appreciate the customer's business. The level of accommodation is decreasing and number of other options are increasing. I would recommend the boss to stop being so small-minded, look at the bigger picture, and learn to be grateful for everything. Such a shame because it wasn't always like this.

The King Pork Cutlet is easily one of the best meals in LA! And only $15!

A few weeks ago, I visited this restaurant and had a fully stamped loyalty card. The restaurant previously issued stamp cards, and I still had mine. Since I had collected all the required stamps, I was entitled to a free cutlet. However, when I presented my card to redeem the free meal, the staff member who assisted me displayed a terrible attitude.

As a loyal customer who has visited this establishment multiple times and spent a significant amount of money here, I expected to be treated with basic courtesy. The purpose of a loyalty program is to reward repeat customers, yet instead of appreciation, I was met with rudeness. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable.

I strongly urge the management to retrain their employees on customer service and professionalism. Moving forward, I will be taking my business elsewhere, as no customer should be treated poorly for simply redeeming a reward they rightfully earned.

Honestly, one of the kindest establishments still in k-town. Had the opportunity to talk to the owners, and they did everything to make my experience there comfortable.
They give extra sauce with the tonkotsu and the prices are very respectable.

Huge pork cutlets served here! Likely the most popular spot in the food court among patrons of all ages. Cutlets were basically schnitzels and were served with side of rice, salad and macaroni. Made quick and fresh.
