They have a great menu full of lots of options. We liked it our food it was great. A fun though more back to a burger joint from the mid century.
Oh, how I love this food! Their Horse&Hole mushroom roastbeef sandwich with horseradish is the next level of deliciousness! I'm so glad their location is not far and very convenient with parking, so we can grab it whenever we crave for this food masterpiece. I have to be honest tho, I didn't try anything else on the menu because I can't make myself to order anything else. I just love the idea and taste of THIS sandwich. Please, guys, never close!
Good roast beef sandwiches. Like an upmarket version of Arby's. If you like Arby's then you'll really like their sandwiches.
Parking: They've got a small parking lot
Dietary restrictions: You can get a GF bun
A good quick medium cooked roast beef sandwich. Nothing fancy. Always satisfying. Wish they would get their custard machine fixed and the milkshake mixer. Been over a month now!
I was driving down Olympic Boulevard and felt myself getting hungry. Just then Top Round appeared and I pulled in the parking lot. From the outside it looks unassuming, but don’t be fooled, magic is hiding inside.I ordered a Beef&Cheese , Curly Fries , a Vanilla Milkshake and Ranch/ Chipotle Mayo.Let me Start with the Sandwich: Its like you’re biting into the breast of an angel. The bread is soft but not mushy. The Cheese is light but very flavourful. And, the king of it all, The roast beef is delicate and so soft. It tastes and feels like high quality short rib. The BBQ sauce is spot on as well - not overpowering the other flavours but doing its own thing and doing it well. The Fries: Who knew Fries can be light and make you not feel like a 4 day old bag of garbage after? I didnt, until I ate these fries. The Ranch works really well with them as well as the spicy mayo (WHICH IS ACTUALLY SPICY! how refreshing!!)The shake was really solid as well andStaff was friendly.I will 100% be coming back here the next time i’m in LA. Yes , its that good.Their Tag line is Chef driven Fast Food, and I can tell ‘ya , they ain’t lyin’
Excellent! Fast courtliest service, clean areas to sit and most of all it’s so damn good!!! So good I forgot to snap pictures of the meals. ? if I could give higher stars I would.
I drive by this place everyday to work and I thought I would try it since the reviews were good. I had the beef with the wiz and gravy fries. All together around $18 without a drink. Let's just say "Not impressed at all". Not sure what is up with peoples taste buds, but the sandwich was extremely small, beef mushy, salty, and not much flavor even with the bland cheese wiz. The gravy fries tasted like bland salty beef water made out of cornstarch. The staff was nice, but truly didn't act like they wanted to work there. The only good thing I can say is the beef was real and not processed.
Place looked pretty empty so no waiting for ordering and get my food, so that's a plus. Friendly staff as it was my first time I asked for suggestions. Was told to try the beef and cheese so I went ahead and order that plus a side of curly fries (the main reason I had this place in mind). Food was tasty. Fries were pretty good ?? sandwich was also pretty satisfying.
Very disappointed... My family and I Drove all the way here from 1hour away just to go here because of the episode on the food network...Reality vs expectation = 2 thumbs down!!! ...Very big let down...Everything was way smaller than they portrayed it on the show... There was no gravy for the fries, the soda machine was limited to 2 flavors, they "ran out" of juice boxes for the kids meals... The custard machine was "broke"... the food was not hot at all, they were skimpy on the cheese wiz.... The food was mediocre at best... And the tables are for small people... Cool looking spot but don't be deceived... I will not come back for sure...
I had heard of Top Round Sandwich Shop - Los Angeles, CA and wanted to try it but I'm over 25 (lol) and not crazy about eating hot dogs. Their hotdogs are amazing. No aftertaste, no heartburn just yummy bacon wrapped goodness all the way through. Choices, choices and the sides are plentiful too! Ended my lunch with horchata ice cream and churros. I offered to share but it was so good I finished it all. Can't wait to go back.

My fave place for roast beef sandwiches. Horse and Hole and Black and Bleu are my favorites. Their chicken sandwiches are delicious as well. Good sized sandwiches. Tater tots, curly fries, kale slaw...all great sides. I'm partial to the kale slaw w their homemade honey mustard dressing. They also make sundaes and shakes which are rich and creamy. Can't go wrong with any food here. They are known for their roast beef and it shows in the taste of their sandwiches.
Quality, fresh, homemade roast beef sandwiches. Definitely beats Arby’s. Fantastic Coke Freestyle machine with ALL the syrups. I wish the curlies were seasoned but what can you do. Hand breaded chicken fingers were awesome as well. Great place to stop for lunch if in mid LA and near La brea. Decent prices, too. FYI - spend the extra dollar or two for more beef, you won’t be sorry.
Went to get lunch with coworkers. Was required to wear a mask ... For a outside walk up window . Definitely taking my money somewhere else.. the supervisor was rude, apparently they don't need business or customers don't bother coming here unless you want to get treated as less than human.
Awesome roast beef sandwich I wish they had these in Colorado
I enjoy the Top Round Roast Beef’s Sandwich. I ordered The Beef on Wreck take out and it is really good. And I also enjoy the Curly Fries!!
