This Persian restaurant has the best kabab I’ve ever had—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and grilled just right. The flavors reminded me of home, and the service was warm and welcoming. Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving authentic kaba
Had a graduation dinner for 9 people here! Service was amazing. Everyone who came to the dinner loved it and said it was their favorite Persian food in LA. The juicy chicken is extra juicy and the tahdig with khorest is delicious. They have a unique Persian beer you should try!
this place was wonderful, everyone is SURE to find something they enjoy!!
My plate was taken away abruptly by one of the staff who seems to be part of management with no explanation. The waitress kindly stepped in and explained he was doing so to make space for the items coming. But, he didn’t say a word, just came over, reached over my mother’s plate and grabbed mine with food in it. The hummus came out early with no bread. I applaud the waitress for diffusing the situation but the person in management offered no apology. Compared to the numerous Persian restaurants in houston, the typical hospitality was lacking.
Easily one of my favorite dinners in a long time, especially at this price point. I could hardly make up my mind among the many tempting options on the menu. I'm very glad I mostly ventured beyond what I already knew (though the familiar Shirazi salad was perfect on a watm late-spring evening at an outside table) and sampled my first yogurt with shallots (heaven), chicken Soltani ($31, but easily feeds two if not three), and sekanjabin (unbeatable, refreshing non-alcoholic mint-and-cucumber drink). Everything was so tasty I'd be tempted to re-order it all on a second trip, which would be silly, because the menu teems with other delectable options. The whole staff was friendly and good-humored, and just the right level of attentive but not intrusive; Maral was especially conversational and made the meal even more special. It's my first night in Westwood and I could have gone anywhere, and I'm thrilled I picked this place!
I was seated at a table outside, asked 4 times by the busboy if I am ready to order and after 30 minutes nothing happened, no server came to take my order. I left and will never come back. Basic lack of service. They were not busy - just indifferent and not caring.
Really good food with fantastic service, highly recommend
The family platters are great. Delicious and a lot of food for the price.

This is my favorite Persian restaurant in Westwood. I've never been disappointed by the food and service. I often bring visitors who are not familiar with Persian food to this place to get a great experience. The chicken in bone is my favorite. The chicken is always so juice and flavorful. The rice is always well made, which as Iranians we are really picky about. The kashk e bademjoon is one of my favorite preparations of the dish.

Had a lovely brunch on a warm summer Sunday here, and I enjoyed everything we ordered! My dining companion and I had started our day with a hike, so we were fairly hungry. Portions are quite generous, though, so we had some leftovers, which I enjoyed for dinner the next day. Everything tasted very fresh, and all the items are perfect for sharing. It’s been over a year since this meal, but I still dream of going back! Definitely add this spot to your list.

***bill padding attention***
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Toranj. After dine here with a friend and receiving the check and handing over my credit card they brought the machine and the credit card on the table to charge us, when I paid and signed on the machine I noticed the amount changed after the first check and they didn’t give me the receipt, After I backed and got the receipt I noticed they added an extra charge for a Soltani dish that I never ordered. This evident attempt at padding the bill after the fact is completely unacceptable. The lack of honesty and integrity is appalling. I strongly advise others to check their bills carefully if they choose to dine here, though I certainly won’t be returning. Dishonest practices like this make for a terrible dining experience.
It was a great experience. It is worth to go there and have some good food
