what an absolute train wreck. i went for the special but they refused to give it to me since we were "late". never was there a time limit to the special and they refused to honor it. someone needs to explain that it's not worth fighting with a new customer. it kills retention. the food was bad. meat was badly breaded, pounded down to hell and the amount of food for $12 is laughable. you be the judge of it.

The drowned cakes are identical to those from Tlaquepaque Jalisco. I recommend them 100%

Food is delicious. I love the torts ahogadas. The spicy ones are very spicy I usually get the non spicy and add the spicy sauce myself but if you like spicy the spicy one is great

I found this place in East Los Angeles. It was a good choice, bean tacos and the traditional carnitas cake, homemade jericaya... the cottage cheese taco with meat, everything was delicious. I would definitely come back again. Excellent choice.
