100% zero stars. HORRIBLE & INEDIBLE. I wasted $50 plus dollars on a WHOLE roasted chicken. Pretty hard to mess up but it wasfood I couldn’t eat. Dangerously beyond overly salted .. and I’m someone who loves salt !!I’ve tried calling several times but the restaurant never answers. It goes to a recording that doesn’t allow you to leave a message. I’ve registered complaints with PostMates also. I’m a disabled senior who cannot afford to pay over $50 for food that I absolutely couldn’t eat. It was serious and honestly inedible. Then of course I paid fees and a tip … all a huge waste and disappointment. The Brussel Sprouts I ordered were also extremely salty. I rinsed in water in order to be able to eat something for dinner.STRONGLY DONOT RECOMMEND trying this place. My first and very last time. Huge rip off.
The fries were great, crispy and well seasoned. Sadly the rest was not, the chicken was dry and not flavored. The corn and feta salad was limp and bland. The dipping sauces were really terrible - cilantro sauce, just not my thing and then a super vinegar based hot sauce that had no flavor just heat. Zankou, Birds, Byrdies are all better.

Come here and eat their bomb chicken sandwich.I don't think I need to write anymore, but overall it's a perfect spot for a quick lunch. The line moves pretty quickly, and the food comes out fast. After paying, I sat at a table and my food was immediately ready to grab.
Perfect rotisserie chicken. I think it’s hard to consistently do right, but today in particular was perfect. Yummy. Simple, delicious. Tacos from Escuela next door as well? Love it. Staff was amazing. Such a good meal I had to drop the review. Thanks Totem!
Love at first bite... I came here with a group of friends and we were all speechless about the chicken here! So delicious and perfect amount of spiciness for me (medium). Fries were seasoned just right as well. The restaurant is pretty small, but we were able to get seats as people were leaving.
Me and my friend Layla are hot chicken sandiwch connoisseurs, and this place was awesome. Crispy chicken, delicious sauce. Mild was pretty spicy, fried were so crispy!! Thanks for the awesome service Vic, you made sure we had everything we needed. This place is awesome.
Best chicken I've ever encountered! This is BEYOND what I expected and have driven a total of 8 hours making 4 trips within the last week to have it. I've even put aside all coronavirus fears to eat here despite the large crowds that are always out the door. Please open in Dallas!! They need Dave's Hot Chicken!!
If you want bomb chicken with heat options, def give this place a try! While the menu was limited, there were so many options in terms of flavors. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the mac and cheese was BOMB.
Best Nashville-style chicken sandwich I've ever had!!! I've already become a regular since the grand opening. And the Totem Poultry bowl, omg it's soooo good, I've never had a bowl like that in my life! I think I'm addicted to that yummy sauce lol. If you haven't tried this place, it's a must if you're in the Los Angeles area. Also, very impressed with the customer service here. They are so nice, greeting you and making you feel like you're at home. And they don't make you wait. And the food is always delicious, fresh, and served hot. This is my spot!

The fried chicken is absolutely insane, the secret sauce is bomb and the fries are cooked to perfection. These guys are absolutely killing it and the best part about it is that there is practically never a line!!
Staff here is what truly makes this place a memorable place to go. A+++++
I didn't understand how it could be so great that people would wait hours in line, but honestly this was the best chicken sandwich I've had. The breading was crispy and buttery and the chicken was so juicy. It was still hot when it was delivered and tasted like it was just cooked. The coleslaw really set the sandwich apart too.
This review is based on one month ago. I ordered through Postmates because I could not justify waiting in line for it. And oh boy, it was worth it! I got the medium chicken sandwich and it was just perfect. Not too spicy. It was also white meat chicken but it was not dry. Honestly best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Like it was worth $16-17 for it. I wished they had fries but they didn't so sad. Other than that, it was good. Delivery was on time and quality of the food was not jeopardized.
Ordered online and had a pretty quick pick up. Food was pretty good, not the same as Howlin Rays but pretty good. I tried the chicken strip not spicy and the sandwich mild spice and both were pretty tasty. Next time I wanna try a little more spicy. Will be back again. Thanks
