the brisket mac and cheese turnover was the best! didn't even need the extra sauce, it was perfect the way it was. and the guy who helped us was so kind! he offered to put our food back in the warmer so it didn't get cold while we waited for the rest of our order to be ready. will definitely be back :)

Do not order turnovers online. My credit card was charged $103.93 on Mon., July 25th,2022 with promise for delivery on Sat. July 30th, 2022. I followed up on Mon. Aug. 1st, Jamie replied, new arrangements made for delivery on Mon. Aug. 8th. NO -Delivery or response as of Aug. 8, 2022. Buyer Beware!

I have been a fan since 2020 and some of my favs: the fried lobster tail sandwich, fried shrimp, chicken tacos, lobster tail tacos, the center cut bacon and Nutella with walnuts turnovers. The food is fresh, the customer service is outstanding and the music is also good. I noticed the hours have changed, how unfortunate as this was my regular go to lunch spot.

Love this truck. First, it's so interesting to see the lower-star reviews, and how Jamie so kindly responds to all of them. On to my feedback: there are so many amazing things to say about this food truck. It is a super yummy, local, black-operated, and presumably black-owned business. Both Royce and Jamie are absolute gems on this street and in this neighborhood - always with a smile and warmth to them, you can really tell that they take pride in what they do and want to bring a smile to peoples' days. I have only had the ice cream and sweet turnovers, and I love them. They are absolutely perfect and so delicious. My favorite are the berry cheesecake and the other cheesecake ones, and I also like the oatmeal one a lot. Thank you so much treat day truck!
Omg the turnovers are amazing. It's sweet buttery flaky heaven!!! I tried the sweet potato, peach cobbler and the apple cheesecake one. Very delicious. And let's not forget about the tacos!!!! The lobster tacos and fried shrimp tacos are crazy good!! The owner is such a nice and caring person and took time to talk to us about the food. Oh oh ooooh and the music I love! I stayed a little longer just to hear the music he was playing. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would.

If you can overlook the difficulty with online ordering service, the food is excellent! I was a little disappointed at how long it took for the order to get to us. They give a time for the order to be ready but it was way longer. Staff did their best make up for the ordering and waiting issues. I'll give them another chance because the lobster tacos and tropical turnover were amazing!

I've seen the Treat Day Truck on Instagram and finally got around to stopping by and purchasing the tropical and lemon turnovers + a shrimp and fries plate. So so so good! I will definitely be back to try their other options. They offer an option to order ahead and I decided to do that since I live downtown and just so happened to be in the area - just to make the pickup process easier for myself. Their website was super easy to use and they even have a plug-in that allows you to use cash app at checkout from your phone. Super convenient especially if you're on the go and need to click and order quickly and don't want to sit there typing a CC # in. Pick up was super easy and friendly and the location was right off the 10 FEY- which meant I could hop right back on to head home after my Sunday outings. 10/10 would recommend. Follow their IG @treatdaytruck and check out their posts for updates on new flavors, available menu choices and hours of operation.
