Trejo's Tacos - La Brea Ave

We were at Farmers Market and decided to try it the service was horrible the man at the counter was rude and acted like we were bothering him when we wanted to order. He was on his phone the whole time and we sat and ate and he was on the phone the whole time. I felt the food was a little over priced as well,

Okay so it’s definitely not authentic Mexican food, BUT still good food and the hot sauce they have on tables is bomb!

🔥🌮 I was blown away at the flavors at Trejo’s Tacos!! Honestly almost shed a tear when I had the Barbacoa Burrito! Haven’t tasted that kind of shredded meat since my mom died! It brought me back to my childhood in my mom’s kitchen!! OMG so good.
Came back the next day (today, Taco Tuesday) and had the Fried Fish taco and the Barbacoa taco!!! Threw in a quesadilla as well and topped it off with a Trejo Cerveza!! YOLO baby!!!

It was on my vacation list of things to do in CA VISITING Trejo’s I was hoping to see him possibly I like all his movies and wanted support his restaurant. I would visit again..

It was okay, a little white washed... All tacos were topped off with cabbage and carrots strips.. only seafood tacos should be topped with that.. every other taco should have cilantro and onion as their topping.. the salsa weren't spicy at all, needs some authentic Mexican flavor to everything, also they serve black beans in a bowl mixed with tiny rice.. regular rice and refried beans is what should be served.. the location was okay and the service was fine..

Such a great little shop. The food was delicious! We had a steak taco and a fish taco and they were the perfect size. Cooked perfectly! Highly recommend

The woman who took our order was very welcoming, helpful and enthusiastic about the menu! The tacos were so beautiful you need to take a moment to admire it before you enjoy it!

My only advice is to make sure you read the menu. The food is great.However, do not serve any alcoholic beverages. I don't have a problem with that. But when they say you can order a margarita, and it's not made with tequila, that's something to think about. However, that will not keep me from going back.

Style over substance. Expected more flavor for such high prices. Turned out ELL Pollo loco way better and cheaper. Love Danny but food is expensive and average
