Visited Tu Madre yesterday for lunch and it exceeded all expectations I have. Walking in the staff greeted us super sweetly and the ambiance of the place was nice. It is vibrant, fun, and beautiful. The most important thing though was the food and drinks. First off, the margarita flight was one of the best I've had and I forgot to take a picture before the sparkler died so they replaced it for me. The blood orange and hibiscus were my favorite from that. Also if you come here you can't just drink without food. The tacos were astonishing. Super flavorful and unique. I've tried a whole variety from chipotle chicken, crispy fish, crispy shrimp, kobq, and brisket. The sauces and toppings accompanying each protein were perfect. I highly recommend visiting!

I came to Tu Madre for a dinner double-date with my s/o and our couple friends while they were visiting LA. At 8pm on a Monday, we all found parking on Larchmont and Melrose. I have been to the Los Feliz location on Hillhurst and assumed the menu and ambiance would be quite similar. However, Tu Madre Larchmont is unique. It’s a little more upscale and “aesthetic” as other reviewers mentioned — but not too trendy or luxe for a semi casual dinner date. It also feels more intimate, due to the table spacing. The service was great; the man who waited on us was friendly, helpful, and attentive. My s/o and I are vegan/vegetarian, while our friends are self-described carnivores, and there were menu options for everyone — truly. To my fellow vegans, I highly recommend ordering the squash blossom bowl. The portion was huge, veggie-dense, and very flavorful. I had plenty leftover for my lunch the next day. I have also had the squash blossom burrito from Tu Madre Los Feliz and loved it, and it’s on the menu at Larchmont. To those who love their meat, my friends really enjoyed the carne asada and KBBQ tacos. The margarita flight was gorgeous; it was brought to our table with a sparkler, which makes it as much of an “event” as a beverage. Also, as a friend of mine was celebrating her birthday, two staff members brought complimentary red velvet churros, which everyone at our table enjoyed (except me, sadly; note: they’re not vegan).
Overall, we were all very impressed by Tu Madre Larchmont. I will definitely be back with my s/o. For tourists, I recommend stopping by after a tour through the Hollywood Hills, TLC Theater, or a night at Jimmy Kimmel Live, as it’s only a 13 min drive avoiding highways.

We visited today and were extremely happy with our visit. The Food here is so delicious and flavorful. The service was really good with friendly and helpful staff. The ambience was nice. We ordered the chicken burrito, carne asada tacos, chicken Al pastor tacos and a customized bean and cheese burrito for our picky eater. They were able to customize it for my daughter even tho it's not in the menu. We loved it here. For that sweet tooth their red velvet churros a must try 🤤

Wow this place was amazing!! This was such a perfect lunch. The agua Frescas were a perfect way to start. The truffle guac was a favorite!! The chips were made to perfection. The tacos were all mouthwatering and had such great flavor to them. And the KBBQ burrito was a standout!! Don’t forget to get the red velvet churros at the end. They were super unique and a great way to end a nice meal. Additionally, the staff was all super nice and the decor in there was really cool! I recommend!!

The food absolutely delivered. The sweet & sour chicken taco and fried chicken taco were both so good: flavorful, crispy, and well-balanced. The crispy shrimp bowl was another standout, packed with texture and flavor in every bite. Honestly, everything we tried hit.
