I was so happy to try this place as I became vegetarian recently and I am from a place with little vegan restaurants. This place made me feel so comforted and showed that vegan food can be amazing. I had the pho ga, and it was much better than the “real” chicken phos I’ve had. My mom had the garlic basil noodles and she loved it and we both were shocked at how meaty her sausage tasted. This vegan restaurant is walking distance to the Ahmanson and a great place to go before a show. I've been here before.

I came here on a weekday and had a few hours to burn. The staff was kind and allowed me to use a booth and access to their wifi so I could do some work. This is weird. I wanted to order a Bahn Mi sandwich for dinner so I suggested Vietnamese food to my girlfriend. We have some pretty good options in DTLA for Vietnamese so I thought I was solid. Of course, my girlfriend being who she is chooses Âu Lac. Being who I am I asked if they have a Bahn Mi sandwich on the menu knowing she’ll switch restaurants for me. Nope, they have a Bahn Mi sandwich. Great.
