A very nice little restaurant in this part of LA. The chill jazz and piano music along with the very kind staff makes for a very cozy vibe inside. Also, Andy (one of the staff members) very kindly found the bag I forgot inside the restaurant and returned it to me just as we exited!Excellent all-round, would go again.

One of my favourite places in LA. You cannot go wrong with both the quality and value of what's on offer. Do yourself a favor and come here. Especially for the price, it might be the best sushi in LA.The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the sushi chefs incredibly experienced. I do my best to come here whenever I can, and you should too.

Strongly recommend coming for Saturday lunch for the special weekend bento box. What goes into it changes weekly, but you can be assured it's absolutely loaded and positively delicious. Staff were exceedingly friendly. In addition, they have daily lunch specials and omikase. I get the impression that they pride themselves on repeat customers, and with great food and hospitality I can see why.

The best Japanese place in LA. They keep it real and they keep it traditional. The food and service is amazing. The udon and tofu steak is to die for. I highly recommend. It has been my favorite place forever. It has

This is another nice sushi place on Santa Monica Blvd in WLA. I was seated right away and chose everything off the happy hour menu at $6 per item...above avg. value. I especially enjoyed the fried oysters.Service was fast and professional. The ambience is pleasant but the place has been open since 1992 and needs an interior update with new furniture. The springs in my booth seat appeared to be squashed, nonfunctional detracting from my comfort level.Recommended for value deals.

Best miso soup EVER. I also had a California roll which was similarly amazing. Not only is everything incredibly authentic and flavorful, but the folks who work here are super friendly.
