If you love a GREAT pastrami sandwich... Seriously look no further!!! Let me get the info out of the way before the review. This is located inside of Smorgasbord so you have to do a little walking but that just means that you'll get to work up a bigger appetite. :) And get there early as they will run out of food. They have a great way to order. You scan their QR code which then leads you to a website to order your items. Then you go to line #2 and pick up your order as you already paid on the website. Easy System! Now that the nitty gritty is out of the way... Let's get on with the FOOD. I got the smoked pastrami sandwich and the burnt ends... He calls them ugly....I can them Freaking Delicious!!! Lol He gets bread from a local bakery and the sourdough was to die for! The crust was chewtastic while the smoked pastrami melted in your mouth! I mean I barely had to chew before the pastrami just disintegrated into this smoky delicious bite with a hint of heat from the amazing bark. Seriously get it!! If you are a pastrami lover.... No even if you aren't a pastrami lover.... Get it. This was honestly the best pastrami I've ever had and I can't wait to get some more!!

OMG, pastrami lovers unite! Smoked for 16 hours, this tuff is heaven! We had the Swiss Stack, with Swiss, Russian dressing and cole slaw. His hand-sliced artisan rye bread is perfect. I worked in a deli. This is simply wonderful.

A recent order at Cofax included a flyer that mentioned Ugly Drum would be sold on Mondays in July, which is why I decided to try it. The Pastrami Sandwich (4 stars) included delicious and thick slices of their pit smoked pastrami. It was a very tender and melt in your mouth brisket. I loved the bread, and I'm happy it only included thin layer of mustard. My husband enjoyed The Swiss Stack, which included cheese, slaw, and spicy Russian dressing. I wanted to try the Side of Uglies (burnt ends), but they ran out. The sandwiches were on the pricier side at $20+ each. The sandwich looked small at first, but the portion was rich and filling that I didn't finish mine. The sandwiches come with a pickle. When the online pre-ordering was temporarily unavailable during our visit, we didn't wait too long when we placed our order at Cofax.

OMG, I think I have found God in this pastrami sandwich. I was a Langers disciple until I found a new place to worship! Don't walk, run to your salvation and be bathed in the most delicious sandwich in LA . . . .

Smokey tasty pastrami is the star here, and it doesn't disappoint. Definitely not your "deli pastrami" here, but a rustic and hearty version with crisp edges and a tender center. I added cole slaw to it since it needed a little something to it. Great little sandwich with high quality meat. I hope this company gets a permanent spot in LA soon, since I'm currently not sure where to order from since they left their pop-up spot on Fairfax.

My dear and holy f****** days!, this place blew every expectation out of the water. Everything is good, in fact so good, you'll be dissatisfied forever with anything that hasn't been pastrami'Ed. That's how great it was, new god damn adverb's need invention.
I ordered the matzo ball soup to go with my sandwich. When I arrived home I opened the bag and written on the receipt was "we're out of soup". They didn't say anything when I picked up. They didn't provide me with a substitute, but they charged me for the soup. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Ugly Drums pastrami is delicious. I ordered burnt ends last week because burnt ends are my favorite. Pastrami burnt ends from Ugly Drum are now my favorite! I ordered the regular pastrami sando today and it was awesome. While I still prefer rye bread, Bub and Grandma's bread is just perfect too. Going for the pastrami Swiss stack (aka as No. 19 at Langer's) next week!

Amazing! Completely legit! Food was really delicious. The Pastrami and Uglies were so tasty! The Turkey sandwich is also wonderful.

Really great pastrami sandwich. Meat was lean and moist. Bread was fresh baked and exceptionally good. Get it with Cole slaw. Pickle was also exceptional. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality.
