The coffee is a little over-roasted. The atmosphere and service are great.

RACIST & RUDE:
The two main people working the morning shift were quite rude to an African American looking gentleman merely asking about whether they made an iced london fog. Instead of giving the answer, (which is that they didn't know how to make it), they listed health code violations and proceeded to berate the young man even after he gracefully changed his order for their convenience. It took everything in me not to simply tell the young man that there is a place just down the street that will do it for him without all the fuss (and with much better vibes). He still sat down to quietly do his work and he wasn't even the loudest person in the cafe or disturbing anyone. One barista didn't even make his bagel with cream cheese as I already saw him do for several customers before him. It really is tough because I like coming here and places with pride flags I tend to associate with calm and open sanctuaries for the marginalized. I'd be surprised if I ever saw the young man come in here again. Disappointed.

I purchased a cappuccino and it tasted odd
Half way through the coffee I felt I was going to be sick. I believe the milk was bad
I told the lady at counter and she said she could not do anything for me. Poor customer service skills

My go-to cafe when visiting my student who attended Occidental College. Baristas are skilled and the coffee has that fresh roasted flavor. They are open at six daily which works for a farmer boy like me!
Chatted with a young man who apparently had just had an all nighter and ended up there with no cash, a phone on 0% and a mysterious abrasion on the side of his head. He hit me up to call him an Über SWEARING that he would repay me. Life happens, so I reminded him that he could use an ATM and bring me ca$h and I would hail his ride. He loved that idea and set out into the morning sun. Never saw him again… hope you got home, dude!

This is a great cafe to visit and work at. The music isnt too loud, but the cafe was cold. But even that is easily remedied if you sit near the windows.

If you love drinking, smelling, or thinking about coffee, you’re at the right place. Not to mention a catchy slogan: sexy fresh coffee.

Unincorporated Coffee Roasters is a corner coffee shop in Eagle Rock, LA. They’re roasting sexy fresh coffee every day of the week and located in Colorado and Eagle Rock blvd.

I have walked and driven passed by this coffee shop for quite sometime now but never had the chance to visit until now. I have been to their Altadena location two years ago. I arrived on a sunny Spring Friday afternoon to grab a cold drink. I was perfunctorily greeted by two young female baristas. I ordered an Iced Green Mango Oolong Tea. It was just bloody decent in taste/flavor.

UCR’s contemporary interior design was truly an eye catcher especially the light fixtures and natural light. Moreover, its indoor was very spacious and has plenty of wooden tables and chairs. This store sell a plethora of goods such as coffee bean bags, merch, tote bags, lil honey jars, and tumblers. Drink prices were competitive and economically fair. Service was spot on. Vibe was ridiculously chill.
Plenty of street parking.

Overall, I had a good experience and will try their hot drinks next time.

I got an iced oat milk latte with the honey lavender syrup. The espresso is very weak and the milk is watery. Probably the worst latte I've had in a while.

This is my second time coming here. It’s just fine. It’s another coffee shop (replacing swörk). It’s clean. The music isn’t too loud. Pricing is what is to be expected for any coffee shop in LA. My biggest qualm with this place is that despite the abundance of tables, there’s a lack of wall outlets. If you’re gonna show up here to get any work done, come with your devices charged- otherwise there’s 1 outlet at the back of the shop.

“There’s always room for improvement”

Food & drinks are ok. A little change won’t hurt. They don’t have mugs option for dine-in but they can serve your hot & cold drinks in glass cups. They give Small content of hot drinks compare to next door coffee shops.

Service is top notch!

Atmosphere is ok lots of table and chairs
