The authentic Italian dishes tasted great and the ambiance was very intimate with list a small space and dim lighting. Staff was very friendly and helpful, though service was quite slow because they were short-staffed at the time.

Such killed food!! We had the yellowtail along with the tasting menu. Everything was soo good and fresh even towards closing time. Highly recommended to get that tasting menu!

Everything was exceptional, from the fresh made pasta from Italy to the heavenly Tiramisu’s, the whole dining experience was nothing short of a pure delight.

The pasta tasting menu was a great affordable option to taste a number of dishes, service was good and food on point, it's an open kitchen and busy with tight seating, so don't expect a quiet romantic experience. That's not a detractor just useful to know ahead of time. Would definitely go back when we're back in LA. We popped in after a day at LACMA, which was totally walkable. A+++

I keep coming back for their pasta! It’s affordable and tasty, and perfect for a casual date or just catching up with friends. Everything on the menu from appetizers to pasta to dessert is delicious. The manager was really welcoming and friendly. Will definitely come back again and again.

We really loved Uovo prior to the last 6ish months, but the past couple times we have been have been a miss. Most recently, the tasting menu was incomplete as they ran out of the yellowtail crudo by 7pm on a Friday night. They substituted it with an arugula salad that my partner loved, but I did not. The truffle pasta was very oily. All dishes were portioned unequally between us, including one having most of the sauce vs. the other having almost none of it. The cacio e pepe tasted like straight lemon. We paid around $160 for everything we got, and we were just really disappointed this time, as we used to love this Uovo location.

UOVO nails it again. Took my buddy here for his first plate of Uovo pasta, he didn't know what to expect, said it was the best pasta he's ever had. Recommended.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by our server Hilario, who was not only incredibly kind but also super knowledgeable about the food — he explained each dish in detail and even shared the stories behind them, which made the experience extra special. This is customer service done right.

The service was honestly the best we’ve ever had, and the food was just as amazing. The flavors were unlike any Italian restaurant we’ve been to in the U.S. We’re from Michigan and found this place by accident, but it turned out to be the best Italian food we’ve ever had not to mention at an excellent price. Highly recommend — and a big thank you to Hilario for making the whole experience unforgettable!
