Heard it was a good place to eat. Was ignored by waitress. She checked on every customer and blatantly skipped over us. Could it be our skin tone? We were very disappointed!

This place became a dump. Over $20 per person for simple breakfast. Big red flag is there are no prices on the menu (because they keep increasing the prices). 3% credit card fee. No physical menus. Parking is a nightmare. I used to come here, but I will not be coming again!

The food was delicious. The servers don’t speak English it’s heard to communicate we didn’t know we had to order on the phone, or get our own water 🤷🏽♀️. We set there a while as others came in and had ordered… The atmosphere is beautiful.

The coffee here is absolutely amazing! ☕
The shop closes at 5:00 p.m., but I came in around 4:15 p.m. and had a meal at the restaurant. Even though it was close to closing time, the male server was incredibly kind and welcoming. I really appreciated his warm attitude.
The French fries were also outstanding! 🍟
The sauce tasted like guacamole with a hint of cilantro and a touch of spiciness — it was so delicious and perfectly matched the fries.
I’d love to come back tomorrow morning for another cup. The coffee was just the way I like it — dark and rich in flavor. 🌿

Vees Cafe West Adams Gem
Tucked into the heart of West Adams, Vees Cafe is the kind of spot that makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. I grabbed the Spicy Chicken Panini and a vanilla blended latte both hit the mark. The panini had a perfect kick, and the latte? Creamy, dreamy, and surprisingly light. Staff were all smiles, and the cozy, modern decor made it easy to linger. Bonus points for the garden fresh sides and generous portions. Whether you’re brunching or grabbing a quick bite, Vees delivers warmth with flavor.

Restaurantji Recommends
It’s clear management and the supervising staff do not know how to manage a busy cafe as your wait time for food will be incredibly slow and you receive no communication from staff. The food will come out at different times, they won’t bring your drinks out first and it clearly seems like they are always unprepared in terms of staff at high peak times. This weekend we waited over an hour for our food and drinks.
Horrible experience ! The online system automatically adds extras and you have to go back and take them off !! Tried explaining that to the people working at the front and was met with attitude and sarcasm. At the end they gave me my order and two of the dishes had hair in it! It sucks that the restaurant itself is pretty but the customer service and ordering system ruins it. Just be ready to pay for ridiculously overpriced meals when coming here.
Was charged a 6 dollar processing fee even though we paid cash, and Imagime they do this with every customer who pays cash? food is overpriced, 21 bucks for 2 slices of bread cut in half? and we ordered chilaquiles and had a seperate charge for a item that used to come with it, worst experience ever
I’ve been coming to Vees for a very long time. I know it gets pretty busy so I wasn’t surprised today on Mother’s Day that it was going to be even more. The staff/employees are nice but my complaint today is in regards to the food and service. Management has to do a better job in training their employees , because they look like they don’t know what they’re doing. Every time they came out of the kitchen. They didn’t know which order belong to whom. They were completely lost! The waiter was going table to table and asking customers if they ordered this, if they ordered that, if this belong to this person. I came with my family, and I ordered two garden burritos with two sides of sweet potato fries, and one kids French toast meal, and one Paris French toast with two orange juices and one vanilla latte iced with a side of almond croissant. I only Received 7/10 of my order. The waiter came to our table 3 TIMES and asked us if we are missing anything and we repeatedly told her we are missing two orange juices and our almond croissant. She kept saying she’ll bring them and never did. When we received our garden burrito it looked so thin. This was not considered a burrito to me, it was more of a taco. Inside our burrito it only had a few onions and mushrooms, eggs, and a few leaves of spinach, when it’s also supposed to have bell peppers and broccoli. Very disappointing considering the price I paid for and received a miserably looking “burrito”. But not only did this ruin my whole experience, but as shown below in the pictures I provided, I order my daughter a kids French toast meal and I specifically asked NOT to add sugar on the French toast and also asked for the eggs to be sunny side up and WELL DONE. They completely ignored my request and my daughter did not eat it. I knew if I asked for them to redo it, it was going to take another 30min to 1 HOUR, so I told my daughter to just eat it and unfortunately she did not like it and almost threw up when she tried the eggs. She hates when her eggs are runny and not well done. She did not touch her plate and was overwhelmed. I asked for a refund and they granted me it but not a lovely experience so definitely DO NOT recommend to come here, just go elsewhere. It’s super expensive and not worth it.
You must order online only.
Food was served separately, so we couldn’t eat at the same time. Breakfast was served Luke warm. Prices are high.
